I think Holland is due for a harder win... I'll say 2-1 on a late goal or in extra time. I expect the young Russians to play feisty and with nothing to lose.

Nah, they will run into some trouble when facing a more experienced team; in fact, I think if they play Italy again, that game will be a lot tighter. But against a young team like Russia with not much defense, Holland should run wild, like what they did to Yugoslavia 8 years ago.

Call them Serbia. Not Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia team pre-1992 consisted out of players from six countries. Yugoslavia post 1992 consisted mostly from players from Serbia and some from Montenegro.

I find it utterly hilarious that Serbia is considered as a successor to Yugoslavia football team. The name Yugoslavia in the football world should've been buried along with Yugoslavia itself and it should be known as a historical fact or something.

Haha pretty much seeing how Yugoslavia had one of the greatest teams. Just like USSR/Russia....I know Russia is a very young team, but I mean it is nothing against USSR, though it did have people from 15 different nations to choose from...

Don't underestimate Gus Hiddink. He knows the dutch system in and out. I actually think this could become the biggest upset of the championship, but I go for a safe pick

Now that was a good half, Russia, save for last few mins of the half where they've been a bit too insecure, has been much better.

Entertaining scoreless half, with mostly Russia dominating. That fingertip (or is it fingernail?) save was pretty fantastic.
