Celtics vs. Cavaliers: Game 2 Eastern Conference Semi-Finals 8pm - ABC
Red Wings vs. Stars: Game 2 Western Conference Finals 7pm - Versus
Brilliant! And it's not like NBC is airing anything in particular either. What would airing this game have done? They're airing repeats tonight of shows (Medium and two Law & Order's) that aired earlier in the week.

Pitt-Detroit final is EXACTLY what the NHL needed for the final. The two biggest American NHL teams. Surley it will be able to beat last year ratings by a good margin. Re: The NHL 07/08 thread After the 1st round, this year has been  Definitley one of the worst I've seen. Maybe it's because there's no close series, but I'm just not feeling any intensity or emotion. Like, that Carolina-Buffalo series a couple years ago... that was awesome. Philadelphia vs Tampa... that was awesome. Both those series ruled all kind of ass. All the Calgary and Edmonton series were awesome because they're Edmonton and Calgary. I even liked Detroit vs Anaheim, NY Rangers vs Buffalo, and Ottawa vs Buffalo last year A LOT more than what we're getting now. It's probably a good thing these playoffs aren't on real tv, because if they were, people might turn off hockey for good. Hell, the playoff races were more interesting than this, Washington's run/Carolina's last day fuckup, and Nashville stealing 8th, was pretty awesome. Montreal vs Boston was definitley the highlight of this year so far, along with I guess Nashville winning games 3 and 4 in that loud arena and that 4 OT game. Rest has sucked.
