Fixed.

Golden State didn't have Atlanta's "We're better than you" attitude.

Acting like they're better is one thing, but when you KEEP talking shit all game long, it makes me want to slap them.

Oh, one thing I want to throw out there.

NEITHER person who got flagrant hard fouls yesterday got suspended.

Yet Stoudemire got suspended for walking away from his bench.

That's some BULL SHIT right there.

Welcome to the Suns world.

It's as if Stern is making the refs call games in favor of the team nobody likes.

Celtics are starting to get their rythym back. They just need to start stopping the Hawks.

I don't know... the Warriors definitely had a swagger last year.

I think Atlanta's attitude transformation over the last couple days has been huge. When a team is in the underdog role, I like to see them know they can win and act like it.

Exactly. Boston needs to buck up and match it or they will be in trouble.

It's as bad as hack-a-shaq.

A cheap way to try and win a game instead of actually playing.

I don't think it is. I think it's just that they're being outplayed right now. Doc needs to get them focused for the second half during the break.

And he should never allow Sam Cassell to play another minute in this series.

The Celtics are the better team, and should win tonight but if they don't its over in Boston the hawks are getting most of the calls. For the technicals the refs watched the ATLANTA feed to judge. How is what Garnett did equivalent to a head butt

It's cheap to get fired up and talk shit? Here's a suggestion: don't let it fuck with you.

You're acting like Atlanta is the first NBA team to talk shit during a game. The only difference between this series and, oh... EVERY OTHER NBA GAME is Atlanta is making it obvious.

Holy Shit! :whaa: Hawks are killing the Celtics in the 4th.
I can't believe they're about to go back to Boston all tied up. :funny:

This is as big, if not bigger, surprise as the Piss/Sixers series.

Celtics just aren't getting the bounces in this quarter. That Pierce miss was huge and they needed that badly.

And Johnson has just come up big this quarter.

Would be one of the biggest upsets of all time. Hard to doubt Garnett though.

Who'd have thought Orlando and Cleveland could finish their series before Celtics and Pistons do.

Denver is simply embarrassing to watch. Why couldn't it have been the Warriors? The spirits of the two teams are polar opposite of each other even though they have essentially the same record.

4th Quarter

Boston - 17
Atlanta - 32

Atlanta just wanted it more tonight. And any team that has a ten point lead going into the fourth quarter and allows that many points doesn't deserve to win.

Going home is going to be a breath of fresh air for the Celtics on Wednesday. Even though I thought they were going to win big tonight, I can pretty much assure you that the Celtics won't have this kind of fourth quarter at home.

Both the Pistons and Celtics win their games at home.

That Sixers vs. Hawks ECF that I called the other day is looking more and more likely!

But seriously, I don't doubt that the Celtics and Pistons will advance to the next round, but they really need to finish these series out strong or it could spell trouble later on down the road. It already has done damage to both as both appear beatable, whereas a week ago it seemed like a forgone conclusion that they would meet in the ECF and have a fairly easy time in the early rounds.

The oddest thing is that all the excitement was supposed to be in the Western Confernce, but largely those matchups have been a gigantic snoozefest. The East has had some far more interesting games/matchups - except for that Magic/Raptors matchup. (No offense, Shack! ;) )

Like you, I thought that Boston would dominate this game considering the way things went in game 3. That was kind of the most troubling thing about the loss - they didn't respond like you'd have thought. While the Pistons are in the exact same situation, they punched back everytime they were punched, which makes me feel like they can win anytime they *want* to. I'm a little troubled that I don't get the same feeling from Boston, which makes me wonder about game 6 a little.

But, ultimately I would agree with you... Boston and Detroit win game 5, and I also think both will close it out in game 6. Maybe in the end a little early adversity will do them good. Getting punched early on prepares you for when it happens later on.

No question. GSW were good... Hawks are about 50 games under .500. On top of that, I think this year's Celtics are much better than last years Mavs. So, it's a bigger David and a smaller Golliath.

However, it won't happen. No way Hawks win 4 games in a row, and there is no way they win a game 7 in Boston. And one of those has to happen for Atlanta to move on.
