Everyone should download N+ from XBLA, asap. It's incredibly addictive.

Arent both games made by different teams? Bully I believe is from Rockstar Vancouver while all the GTAs are by Rockstar London

 Re: Last game you played?
played both Assassin's Creed and Heavenly Sword.
Assassin's Creed - played really little of it....just kinda popped the disc in and played for maybe an hour or so but it was all just tutorial kind of stuff...i like the story though and the graphics are great.
Heavenly Sword. Really like this game....a lot actually. great graphics. super fun gameplay. love the mass killings...lol...just really fun to play...haven't finished yet so I dont know how short it is..but I have heard that it is really short.

Dear god this game is glitchy. I hope Rockstar has their A-team working on GTA IV so we don't have these similar issues. I was very interested in getting Bully till I read about all the problems. Did their patch improve most of the problems, at least? It did help a lot with the freezing. It froze up on me once a couple hours after I downloaded the patch, but I finished the game (about 4-5 more hours after that) without it freezing again. Which was much better than before. However, the there is still a lot of little glitches... I had a bitch of a time getting errands to show up near the end when I was going for 100%, and had to restart the game a couple times, and after the patch the music would cut out every so often. In the end, I'd say it was worth it despite the glitches... I had fun playing with it, enough so that I went and completed it 100% and got 1000 points out of it.

 Re: Last game you played?
My roommate rented Army of Two this week. I like it quite a bit. It's pretty short and there's not much replay value to it, but it was a fun little campaign while it lasted. I laughed every time I went into "Back-to-back: and suddenly became invincible...as if not dying is just that easy. The AI is pretty good most of the time, except when you need healing. Fuckin' Rios.
I just got done with about a 14 session of Brawl. My friend was visiting while he's on spring break, and I haven't seen him since last summer, so it was a special occasion. I'm so done with that game for the weekend though.

 Re: Last game you played?
I picked up the Darkness (Xbox 360) on a whim, and have been trying that. It feels slightly like a combination of Prey, Condemned, Overlord, and Chronicles of Riddick. It's definitely not a balls to the wall shooter... lots of plot and talking. Which I actually don't mind so much in this game, for some odd reason. Of course, it could be because the aiming is clunky at best and so far the guns are fairly boring.
The Darkness powers are interesting, but so far they really aren't too much help. This is shaping up to be a C+/B- type game, but I'm early in.

I managed to snag the original Condemned on Craigslist for 15$ and can't wait to start looking for dead birds. The demo made me kinda dizzy though .

 Re: Last game you played?
Finished Lost Odyssey which I gave it a A- despite all the flaws like the save system, inconsistent battles and no camera turns. Im still trying to finish up Condemned 2 but I pretty much have to take breaks in between after 25-30 minutes because Im still not use to the motion sickness. Its not a bad game but the headaches are keeping me from enjoying the game. The horror aspect is nice but you can barely see shit because everything is so dark even with your flashlight on. To me the multiplayer gameplay seems better than single player. Probably now I would rank it as B if I combine both gameplay

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Better than all the movies and games based on the movies. And there's so much to fuckin DO. Beat it and am only 30% done. SO much to unlock and collect it's like a Rare game or something.

 Re: Last game you played?
Some more ratings for games I've recently played.
Condemned 2: Bloodshoot - B- Not as scary as the first. Fighting and combo system works very well. Story is meh. Multiplayer sucks.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - B- Feels like a $60 expansion pack for RSV. Been there, done that feeling throughout, though two player co-op is a blast. Multiplayer is very well done.
Dark Sector - B+- Gears of War meets Resident Evil 4 sums this game up very nicely. The glaive makes the game. It is very badass and very fun to use. Single player is very good although short. Multiplayer sucks donkey balls.
Viking: Battle for Asgard - B+ God of War meets Grand Theft Auto sums this game up. It's a hack an slash game but the missions and world are set up like GTA. You can pretty much go where you want and tackle missions in any order or way you see fit.
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty - D Super generic WWII shooter. Maybe the worst multiplayer on the 360 as well.
MLB 2k8 - C+ Different year, same game.

 Re: Last game you played?
Just finished Uncharted.
I gotta say, it's one of the most visually stunning and most fun games I've ever played. All the detail put into this game is incredible. Little things like coming out of the water and your clothes having to dry just make the game so much better. The story is pretty cool, the cover system works well, and despite it being a little short, it's nothing but entertaining.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (DS)
I never played the Fianl Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube because I could never find the damn thing. So I had to buy this one. It's pretty good so far. Graphics are nice, controls are mostly good (except it's a little annoying switching what spells you use. It's easy, but you have to touch the certain type which takes a second and you can't spare a second if you are fighting something sometimes). The story isn't anything special, but it's still okay. Voice overs are decent too. The only problem I have with the game is that each dungeon (I'll call them dungeons) are a little repetitive. But it's a Final Fantasy game, so Im sure I'm just 5% finished or something so far.

Crysis (PC)
Graphics: Well I guess Crysis beats the shit out of every other game out there. Though if you want to see it in its full glory you meed a murder machine and Vista.
Gameplay: Well the suit abilities give Crysis an extra feature that is fun. Also the physics add a lot. You can also drive cars, fly around in stealth transporters and fire your tank gun.
Story:Well a bit generic and a really bad cliffhanger after the (actually ultra cool) endboss fight.
All in all
9/10
(the cliffhanger sucks!)

 Re: Last game you played?
Madden 08 (Xbox 360) - I'm still just trying to catch up on a few random older games that I missed out on before GTA IV comes out and consumes my game playing life for at least 100 hours... so, Madden 08 was up on deck.
The good: For the first time since Madden 05, they have all the features you'd expect. 07 and 06 were missing a lot! I could not be more happy that they have a create a team feature and you can finally create players any way that you see fit without having to do the stupid mini games. Film clips and bios of most NFL Hall of Famers give it a nice touch. The achievement points are easy, but not too easy, and there is no multiplayer achievements!
The bad: The graphics and animations are looking a little dated, and it's overdue for an overhaul there. The pre-game and post-game comments by Marshall Faulk are weak at best. There still is no real halftime show. They attempted to copy NFL 2K5's "the Crib", but half-assed it. You can't save replays.
The ugly: The radio announcer is still horrid... I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish they'd bring back Al Michaels and John Madden. I listen to games on AM radio often, and this guy is an insult to anything resembling a radio announcer. It's hands down the worst sports announcing of all time, and reaks of lazy developers who wanted something more simpler with much less dialogue.
Bottom line: It's the best Madden in the last 3 years, and it plays well. If it could just nail down the presentation and put the ESPN license to good use (see NFL 2K5), then Madden could really return to its glory days.

 Re: Last game you played?
Can I just say how much I hate Forza 2 the more I play it? It feels like the same damn 2 tracks over and over and over again and the game just goes on forever. I've resorted to hiring drivers to drive for me... I just do an endurance race, hire a driver, and let the Xbox run for an hour while i do something else just to some achievement points.
It's the most boring driving game ever made. I guess if I had any artistic skills, the painting of the cars would be fun, but I don't, so that's not even fun.

Pokemon Diamond Currently having my Ditto (biggest slut of the PKMN Universe by far) fuck Umbreon, but they have laid over 24 eggs so far and I still don't have a Modest Eevee. I get the natures I want for every other evolved form of Eevee, but I can't get a Modest one for Glaceon!!!!!

It's a pain how Eevee eggs take forever to hatch, even with a Magcargo in your team. And I finally got that stupid Spiritomb, because I hardly meet people in my network whenever I'm playing.

 Re: Last game you played?
Finally hatched a Modest Eevee. I have 33 extra Eevee though. >.< And you watch, if I ever choose to raise any of his evolutions, the nature I'm looking for will be unavailable and I'll have over 50 more Eevee. Glaceon is cool though (thinking about building an Ice based team). I also like the pure Ice type. And thankfully Glaceon has solid defense stats to survive longer than the Snorunt chain. Of course Regice can endure many more hits, but I hate using Legendary PKMN all the time. Very cheap.

 Re: Last game you played?
For the 50th time I was at Best Buy with the Orange Box and Mass Effect in my hand. Which one did I choose? Scene It: Lights Camera Action! Yes, for the 50th time I walked away with a completely different game. I just can't bring myself to buy either one.
Anyhow, Scene It: LCA is a fun party game, and I was glad I got it. There's a wide variety of movie based trivia, and it was a good deal considering it comes with 4 wireless controllers. I don't know how long it will last until the questions repeat, but so far so good.
Maybe on the 51st try I'll try that Orange Box or Mass Effect game.

 Re: Last game you played?
Well for one thing you hate Half Life so that would elminate 3 games off from the Orange Box. Portal is probably good for around 4-5 hours of fun and Team Fortress is multiplayer only with Pixar like graphics
Mass Effect is a 30-40 hour game if you do all the sidequest. Has customized characters so you can make that Kate Beckinsale character that you wanted and engage her in a lesbian romp near the end of the game. The bad news is that you may have to put up with 35% of dialogue throughout the game
What also possessed you to buy Scene It? That would be the equivalent of buying Bass Fish hunting and those hunting games

 Re: Last game you played?
With the Orange Box, I only want to play Portal... which is definitely what keeps me from paying $60 for the game. I am interested in Mass Effect, but it sounds so time consuming, and I doubted I had enough time to really get into it before GTA IV, but if it had not been for that, I probably would have gotten that one. I went with Scene It because I was mildly interested in the game before, and I was with my wife who is a trivia nut and in particular loves movie trivia, so she helped sway me in that direction. This first thing she asked after we got it was if there was achievements for the game, and if they were easy to get.

After playing the game, in hindsight I would have paid 60 dollars for only Portal. But for you, probably not worth it. It requires thinking and a sense of humor, neither of which is exactly your strongest quality, so I'm afraid it would be a waste of money for you.
