 PGA Tour 2008 Thread
So.
Tiger Woods is a god.
He's been dominating 100% since late last year.
He was 7 shots back this morning, and is now tied for the lead.
He could potentially win 10 tournaments this year and get all the majors.

 Re: PGA Tour 2008 Thread
It was a crazy day at Bay Hill, Sean O'Hair was 10 back and is also now tied for the lead, he'll play with Tiger tomorrow.
Couples has had a rough go of it after that brilliant first round.
Looking forward to tomorrow and then next week at Doral.

Holy shit.
Tiger, tied at -9. 18th hole. 24 foot putt to win.
Sinks it.
Un-fucking-believable.

Tiger = Spoiled Baby.
This win is the end of his lucky streak, and the last of his PGA career - - he's pulling a Dave Duval from here on in...

 Re: PGA Tour 2008 Thread
I'm not sure if there is any more word I could find to describe Tiger's clutch and dominance. It's like "yeah, I know he will make this; he makes it every time...but he can't really make it every time, right?... ... ...ok, he really can."

It was quite wonderful. I was on the edge of my seat. One of the many exciting moments Tiger has brought me!

That Masters shot had a lot going for it. It was from a difficult lie, it had some crazy line to it, and then the suspense of having the ball hang on the lip for a couple seconds. Plus it was The Masters. THE Golf tournament of the year. This was a putt of marginal length. He has made other more memorable putts, like that one on the 17th of Sawgrass a couple years back that had a double break.

 Re: PGA Tour 2008 Thread
This is ONE of his most exciting shots. It was to stay perfect through the year. It was on the 72nd hole. It wasn't to tie, it was to WIN!
It had everything. And it was in front of Arnold Palmer!

Tiger is a superhuman... he's quickly ending the Woods vs Federer debate. Not that Roger isn't amazing, but to do it in golf at this level is just unbelievable. Just in a completley different league and on a completley different plateau than everyone else.

Amazing victory as usual by Tiger Woods. I've never seen him throw his hat before though. This guy is un-fucking believable I must say. I feel like I am witnessing some golf God.

Tiger is 5 back entering today. Which means he needs to shoot somewhere around a 63...

 Re: PGA Tour 2008 Thread
And Tiger bogeyed 3, so he's back to being 1 under on his round. Yes the inclement weather is very aggravating, I hope they can get it all in today. Looking at the forecast, I don't think that's likely. Maybe in 40 minutes they are saying it could resume...yay Well, they are off the course again. Going to be a long afternoon.

Three bogeys (so far!) on Woods final round - - couldn't happen to a more deserving fella!
