I ended up getting a pass to drive into the circuit and park near the Paddock Club. This is whow I encountered on my way out of the circuit... (more vids to follow of us chasing Kimi (we were both going to the Casino) but will upload them later)
Nice first vid. The second one was a bit stalkerish.
Amazing race btw. Only seven cars managed to finish the race? I hope it's not like this the rest of the season.
Yeah nothing beats the start of a GP when all the cars are on track together.
Fantastic race - just what was needed. Banning Traction Control sure did help. And though Mclaren and Ferrari are fastest - all the teams have improved and are close to each other.
Only 7 cars finished the race on track - but Barrichello was disqualified - so Bourdais and Raikkonen got the final two points spots as they DNF'd before the end but are still classified.
Lets hope for rain in Malaysia this weekend
BTW - The Kimi video - it looks a bit stalkerish but it wasnt meant to be - he just happened to turn up next to us. He also was going to the same place as us. He gunned through two red lights aswell.

Re: Formula 1 2008
had no idea the race was on this weekend. was flipping through channels and luckily, caught qualifying.
would be interesting to see how the race pans out. i think BMW in race conditions still doesn't have enough power and mclarens are easily on a heavier fuel load. unless Kimi overtakes into the first corner, i predict massa should take this
at Trulli. the man is a qualifying genius.

What a great sports day tomorrow.
8am to 10am, Formula 1. 10am to 2pm, some NBA games from last night 2pm to 4pm Manchester United versus Liverpool 4pm to 6pm Arsenal vs Chelsea
Anyway, haven't seen the qualification, but have read that McLaren's drivers were docked 5 places...for blocking?

Yeah they were docked for going extremely slow (on the racing line) after quali while Nick Heidfeld and Alonso were still on fliers. Looked incredibly dangerous as Nick had to dodge them.
Well Great win for KIMI!! Massa binned it and we can clearly see how without Traction Control he's no match for Kimi (apart from in Qualifying).
Kubica was very good and Trulli was damn impressive. That Toyota is fantastic.
Also its interesting to note that in two races we have 6 different drivers on the podium. Most of the teams are competitive this year so if a Mac or Ferrari driver have a problematic day - they wont finish 4th or 5th like last year - they could finish out of the top 8!

Ferrari may just be in a league of its own.
I like the ferrari drivers but hate the constructor so i'm always divided by a ferrari win.
Malaysia has been confirmed as a night race.

Aaaah sweet thread.
In F1 related news it looks like Super Aguri are in deep financial trouble, any guesses on if they'll go bust?
I seriously can't see Bernie allowing it, but then again the man isn't an eternal suger daddy for the minnows.

Nice win for Kimi! It wasnever in doubt all weekend.
Good to see Heikki is ok. That was a nasty crash. The gravel trap did nothing to slow the car down.

This weekend the F1 cars will be racing at the all new Valencia circuit in Spain for the European grand prix. I think this will be an interesting one to watch with multiple safety cars...
The stewards in Belgium need to be strung up and shot for ruining one of the best races ever with this idiotic penalty on Hamilton.

Re: Formula 1 2008
Gulli/baba/nebs - who's going to win the championship?
Lewis is 7 points ahead of Massa ahead of this weekends Brazillian GP. All he has to do is finish in the top 6 (exactly like last year) but with a wet weekend predicted and his engine being in its 2nd weekend - its no guarantee.
I'll still say Lewis will win the WDC even though Massa may win the race.
