Heh, the Heat are playing without Wade, Shaq, and Haslem tonight. This should be funny. :funny:

As LeBron casually runs into the paint and gets a game winning layup with 4 seconds to go. 37 points, 14 rebounds.

MVP!

That's our 18th 4th quarter comeback of the year :funny: .

Was just laughing at a boxscore, at the end of the 1st quarter of the Bulls-TWolves game, Chicago had 14 and the Wolves had 8. It was 3-2 with 5:45 left. The Wolves won the game in a blowout. :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha:

All-Star Reserves:

East:
G: Chauncey Billups
G: Richard Hamilton
G: Joe Johnson
F: Caron Butler
F: Antawn Jamison
F: Paul Pierce
C: Chris Bosh

West:
G: Steve Nash
G: Chris Paul
G: Brandon Roy
F: Dirk Nowitzki
F: David West
F: Carlos Boozer
C: Amare Stoudemire

Only one I don't really like is Johnson in the East. Seems like everyone else is at least from a good/great team, while the Hawks are underachieving AGAIN. He's also shooting a pretty bad % and in particular the last month has looked really uninspired and crappy. Allen or Turkoglu or Calderon probably should've made it, give to the teams actually doing something. They also probably could've put Davis over West and gave an all-star to all the West contenders(GSW have none), but whatever, the game's in NO and I like West anyways.

Glad to see Rip and Chauncey in there again!

Jose Calderon was the only one from the East that I thought should have been in, that wasn't. If it were up to me I'd take out Kidd... the fans screwed that one up (Chauncey should have been a starter, Jose a reserve, Kidd at home watching the game). Only other possibility in the East would be Heidi Turkalu (sp?)... he's been playing really well this year.

Out west, Baron got screwed, as did Manu.

So Memphis has traded Gasol to the Lakers for Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, and first-round picks in 2008 and 2010. Is this a way for Jerry West to say thanks? That's a scary team when Bynum returns, with three players averaging for a combined 60 points and 30 rebounds.

I guess if they're looking towards the future, they traded an older Gasol for a younger Gasol. If little Gasol turns out to be Eli to Peyton Manning, that may turn out to not be that awful a deal in the future.

Wow, I heard that rumor this morning after Stromile Swift got traded for Jason Collins(another horrible move... Collins is awful and I always liked Swift) and thought it was just another internet ramble, I never thought it'd happen in a matter of hours.

Memphis is just too poor. Kwame is 10 mil off the books at the end of this year, that's pretty much the reasoning here. Critt isn't a bad prospect, but yeah. I'm sure they could've gotten a better deal like Noah and Gordon from the Bulls, at least that's something for your best player.

HUGE deal for the Lakers. Shit. Scary. They were already pretty great and then got Gasol and only gave up Kwame! Holy shit! :funny:

We got Kobe'd tonight, but Bargnani went off for his career high - 28 points. The last 5 games had been quite good for him, scoring 20, 13, 3(foul trouble), 19, and 28, respectively. Glad to see it, my hope for him was running paper thin for a while there. Hopefully this is a start to a good February for him. :D

It's probably nothing but I guess Camby and Najera randomly didn't play tonight for Denver and apparantley weren't even on the bench or in the building, and a radio rumor is goin round he might've been traded. Would make sense, if the Nuggets are smart they'd realize they aren't winning jack with the current trio and use his high value to try to find some young studs Melo can win with in the future... maybe they could get Harris or something.

After this kind of loss.......

No. :funny:

In two days I'll probably feel different. It's looking good for them right now though.

Welcome back, TJ Ford. Just heard he's ready to go tonight, it surprised me, I thought it'd still be a couple weeks away. And hopefully this means welcome back Kapono too, he's been completley useless without a capable point guard giving him open looks, which hopefully he'll get now.

Heh, I'm forced to watch the Heat feed in the game tonight, it's hilarious... they're commentating 95% on us, it's like a home game. It's as if they're totally embarrased this is their team. Oh, and it's 26-6 with 4:44 left in the 1st. :hahaha:

The West is so wavy this year... first Portland goes on a tear... then New Orleans... now Utah's on absolute fire. But I think the Jazz are better and more legit than the other two teams, their lineup is just better.

I guess Golden State and Houston are streaking next...

FFFUUUUCCCKKKK

The Denver game was brutal tonight. We had multiple chances to win in both regulation and overtime. Iverson hits the game winner cause Jack isn't on him tight enough. Shitty. This would have been a huge win, too. Would have given us the season series over the Nuggets, which would have come in handy in the uber-tight West.

it's crazy to think that 2 teams in the West will miss the playoffs this year that have a better record than the #3 seed in the east. I could easily see Portland and Houston topping whatever Cleveland/Orlando will get.

Getting rid of Banks would be TERRIBLE.

Banks should be a starter.
