 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
I did not believe for a single second that the Giants would be going to the Super Bowl at the beginning of the playoffs. I kind of thought they were the worst team in the post season.
Unbelievable.

Unbelievable. Conspiracy theory time: It's rigged! Fox would much rather have a huge market like New York in it than Wisconsin.

What's the biggest blowout in Super Bowl history?
I think the Pats can beat it.

I think the Pats can beat it. Unfortunately everyone predicting a blowout means it will be a close game. I would say the Giants have no shot at winning... but I said that their last 3 games as well, so... WHO KNOWS!

Brady and Belichick are UNDEFEATED after a bye week in the playoffs.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Every record needs a first.
19-0 has never been done. Someone has to do it.
Tom Brady is that someone.

I never thought the Giants had a chance in Green Bay. I think the Pats will dominant in the SB. I think it will be similar to Super Bowl 24.

Like they did on week 17? They're defense is playing dominant right now. The Patriots you see now is COMPLETELY different than 4 weeks ago...

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Geez; its 2007 all over again. A decent-for-the-NFC team has made it to the super bowl against a very good AFC team. As a game, this super bowl will suck. But 19-0...now that dont suck atall

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
I thought the Giants had a little bit of a chance in GB, but when I say that I mean that they would've ultimately lost by three or seven points. And if anything, I didn't expect Farve to throw away the game.
As for the Super Bowl, I actually don't think it'll be a blowout, but I see a game very reminiscent to Super Bowl XXXI (Packers/Patriots). I think the Giants will hang around for a little bit, but I think the Patriots will come up with a big quarter somewhere.
35-20 - Wouldn't surprise me if it's closer though. The Giants are good. I think it just depends on how good the Patriots are next weekend. Brady's gonna have a great game though. But the bye week does help the Patriots much more than the Giants for reasons previously mentioned.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
The last time a wildcard team made it to the Super Bowl, they won it. Hope it happens again this year.
