what a supremely dissappointing day. no new england-indy rematch or new england dallas. rematch

i mean this, i reallly really feel for terrell owens right now. I always thought it, all along even as he comes across as this confident, carefree guy....he wants it, really bad. And I think he thought it was this year, and the overall dissappointment and sudden crash of his dreams....

yesterdays results were awesome. Go Giants! HAHA COLTS!

Colts lost cause of bad karma, theres no other explanation. They pussied out and let the undeserving Titans get in the playoffs, and they've paid for it.

I was thinking Pats/Pack from the start, but now I'm not so sure. Giants are looking strong right now, and good karma (from actually playing on week 17) might reward them with a rematch with the Pats.

The Giants were better this day. It's as simple as that. That's what the playoffs are all about being better on a single day.

We outgained them by 120 yds. We had more third down conversions. Our defense forced them to punt more. And we held the ball more.

We were the better team. We jsut lost it.

I watched the entire game, the giants owned the 2nd half.

We lost because of our own faults. Giants won because they got lucky that we played so shitty.

I'm not blaming the refs or anything. The penalities we did was our own faults. We were just stupid for committing them.

The thing is that Giants didn't win this game. Cowboys lost it. And even the Giants know this.

Please, Eli completely outplayed Tony, but it was the Giants defense that one the game in the end. It was a miracle that they couldnt touch Roma until the 4th quarter, then he completely fell apart. I'm not ruling out the Giants, they certainly can beat the Packers if they are on.

That game was too close, the Cowboys didn't capitalize when the Giants decided to sit on the ball and just run it. The Cowboys blew it, and the Giants took charge in the end.

Packers/Pats is gonna be the biggest superbowl of all time. The hated Pats going for 19-0 against the loved Brett Favre. I expect an HBO movie within two years.

But the Giants could fuck it all up, like the Chargers did last week. The best possible superbowl rarely happens.

Still it would be nice to see a Pats/ Giant Rematch after the last game, I think that was the best game of the year up until the last 4 minutes.

I'm not even looking at the regular season matchup.

Packers are playing better RIGHT now. They are an overall more talented team. They have a huge home-field advantage (biggest home-field advantage in the league). And they matchup better against Giants than Cowboys. Packers are run-first, pass-second, which goes against the Giants whose only big strength on D is their pass rush. They won't be able to defend the run, and once they try to, Packers will go to the air and destroy them. Packers actually would have been favored to probably beat the Boys if they had to play them.

Packers dominate the game. This year may have the most boring Conference championships ever. Both games won't be interseting to watch after two quarters.

Luckily, the Superbowl will be very interesting to see.

Actually, the Giants are really good at stopping the run. The Packers will win because the Giants secondary is bad and depleted and the Packers can avoid the pass rush pretty well. The Giants have the same strength and weaknesses like the Seahawks, they are a bit better at many things but the Packers have shown they can handle the pass rush and Eli in the cold is a big questionmark.

I think it is pretty funny that the AFC championship game is a battle of evils (cheaters vs. loudmouths) and the NFC championship game is the opposite (aging beloved QB vs. surprise team that everyone expected to play for draft picks before the season)

y - 24. Pittsburgh (10-6)

The Buzz:The Cowboys' passing game needs another playmaker to continue to rank among the elite. (Ithink they may go for Felix Jones RB out of Arkansas if he is still availible.)

y - 31. San Francisco (From Indianapolis (13-3))
The Pick: Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Illinois*
The Buzz: The 49ers offense needs another playmaker, and Mendenhall is a fast-rising prospect.

Some stupid flaws in there.

Laurinitis isn't coming out.

And an AFC team can't have the 31st pick if an AFC team wins the SB.

I'm surprised they think Reggie Smith of OU is going so high. Even over Malcolm Kelly which is surprising. Smith has been a very good player but he still has work to do. Kelly on the other hand is ready and just needs balls to be thrown in his direction.
