 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Giants too conservative on that drive. Should have thrown the ball on second down.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Barber wasn't touched by a Ginat when his knee went down. If he got up, lost the ball it is a fumble. Should have been reviewed by the officials to make sure

Wow... that is a shocking development. I really thought the Giants were terrible. So, did Coughlin save his Job with this season? I thought there was NO WAY he would be the head coach of the Giants in 2008 after the last season.

But... It's in GB... and GB's secondary is MILES better than Dallas'.

The D is good, Eli made a big step forward, they reached the NFC Championship and the players warmed with him. He'll get more than a 1-year-extension now

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
What a glorious, glorious day of football this turned out to be. First the Colts lose. That's always fun. Then we have the team they lost to, the Chargers, getting absolutely banged up today. Rivers couldn't play the final quarter and Tomlinson couldn't play the entire second half. Just beautiful. And then Dallas loses.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
I guess the Cowboys getting their asses handed to them mostly full-strength by the Skins should've been a red flag Tough couple years for Dallas sports fans

Our four big playmakers (Romo, T.O., Barber, and Ware) did what they had to do. But everyone else fucked up. The supporting cast just was not there today.
I would argue that. Romo made some really questionable decisions in the 4th quarter, being sacked twice instead of throwing the ball, intentional grounding without pressure. And T.O. seemed to be affected by his injury a bit, he was okay, but no difference maker

Troy Aikman should not be allowed to call Cowboys games. He's COMPLETELY OBVIOUSLY biased to an extreme degree. It's disgusting.

He praises the opponents a lot actually more than the Cowboys. He was really against Romo for the longest time. Yes, he does praise opponents. But the way he talks during the game, you know he's trying not to, but he is on Dallas' side the majority of the time.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Yeah, New England vs Green Bay would be awesome But then again, so would New England vs New York. It'd be the first time "THE RIVARLY" translated into a Superbowl match-up, no? Though the Pats would slaughter them. Either way it's probably the best Superbowl in a while. Can't really lose unless San Diego makes it in. Yeah, we can't lose.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Anyone see TO's press conference when they asked about Romo?
He got seriously choked up. I commend him.
