Tom Brady said he heard the whistle for the timeout and he stopped... if there wasn't a timeout he would've got it.

Ahh Magnus is bitter!!!

Don't be jealous.

What'd the Pats defense do in the final 10 minutes of the 4th quarter? Oh that's right, SHUT DOWN WILLIS!!!

Bullshit. Fucking bullshit. Pats got lucky.

I'd say it was more of Baltimore (#57) being complete morons, more than the Patriots being lucky. Or I guess they could go hand in hand. Then again, the Ravens could've stopped the Patriots five times tonight on that last drive and they simply couldn't do it because of Brady.

Quote:
Though honestly, the way the Pats are playing, I don't know how they will do in the playoffs. I mean, two really close back-to-back games against teams like the Ravens and Eagles, who really aren't that great. Of course, the Pats are still easily the best team in football right now. But I think after these two weeks, they are not safe at all. Still best team, but their dominance is slowly fading.

Slowly fading after two more wins. Check!

Quote:
Oh, and I really hate this talk that the Pats are the greatest team ever.

This may come as a surprise to some people, but I agree. They're 12-0. Big whoop. They've still got seven games to go.

Quote:
They just don't have defense to really be considered the greatest complete team of all time. I mean, the fucking Baltimore Ravens dominated this defense. The Ravens offense. Nuff said.

For three quarters? Absolutely. I even made a comment in this thread during the game about the defense. The fourth quarter though, they came up fucking big.

Quote:
The fact is that they can only win games through their offense, and their offense is 100% passing only.

Not quite 100%. I thought Maroney was somewhat effective tonight - more so than against the Eagles.

Quote:
No running and just a solid but not great defense diminishes their greatness. Greatest passing attack of all time? Probably. Greatest team? Hell no. I'll take the 70s Steelers, 90s Cowboys, or 80s 49ers anyday.

After 12 games, anyone who is calling them the best team of all-time deserves to be smacked in the fucking head.

And then they almost allowed a possible greatest throw of all time with a hail-mary at the end that could have just changed everything.

But they didn't...........

Quote:
Fact is that the Patriots defense is good, but it's not great. People were saying weeks ago how the Patriots are a lock to win the SB, and while I think they are still the clear favorites, they really should be worried.

They should be worried about five weeks from now? You have listened to what this team says after games right?

Quote:
I could see three teams in the AFC that could beat them in the playoffs: Jackonsivlle, Indy, and Steelers.

And I can also see them beating those teams. Call me Carnac the Magnificent.

Quote:
And Dallas in a rematch in a possible SB would be a lot closer than before.
[/quote]

True. All of the Patriots Super Bowl wins have been close. Then again, they could win by three touchdowns again.

Oh frack, they're on at the same time! That's straight up hate right there. Already missed the Pats/Colts :disgust: .

I'm still in full support to move Pitt/NE to Sunday night :shades: .

Wait wait, are you saying a Cleveland game was on at the same time as that? If so I think I'm in the clear, as I saw the Pats/Colts game. YAY!

The free agency helped?! Are you kidding me?!? They got helped by Oakland not realizing Moss was still amazing, and by Miami by not realizing Welker was amazing.

The only big move they created was Adalius Thomas.

And that hail mary pass Asante Samuel got RAPED and would've knocked it down if not for that.

And they ARE the greatest team of all time, even if they lose in the regular season.

Fact is that if you pitted them against the 70's Steelers, 80's 49ers, or 90's Boys, I think they lose. Those three teams had offenses that could have dominated the Patriots D, and they also had defenses that may not be able to stop the Patriots offense, but contain them enough.

Unless you know Doc Brown, we'll never know.

Quote:
And I do hate the fact that people think because of free agency, the Patriots dynasy is more impressive than previous dyansites. Free agency hurts a team, but it help it a lot, as seen with the Patriots this year which basically went from a good/great offense last year to the greatest passing attack of all time maybe. I don't think Patriots should be given anything extra cause of the free-agency era.

They traded for Moss, picked up Stallworth and traded for Welker. Their big free agent signing was Adalius Thomas like Chip said. And all of a sudden free agency helped. Didn't you just say that this Patriots defense wasn't that great?

The record for most 4 td pass games in a season is six by Marino.
Currently Tony Romo and Tom Brady each have 4 games with 4 tds.

I'm pretty sure Romo will get his 5th on sunday vs the Lions.
I hope he gets a couple more vs teh Panthers & Skins.

Brady will surely get his 5th & 6th vs the Dolphins & Jets.
He's got a big shot to break the record in the last game of the season vs the Giants.

Ever since the Patriots clinched their division... before the Philly game... it seems as if their "resting" and prepping for the playoffs.

COINCIDENCE?!?! I think not!

I expect the Pitt game to be close and the Jets/Miami games to not be HUGE blowouts, but easy victories.

Arizona has had a habit of ruining hot streaks this season. Seahawks first time, Steelers, Lions, Browns :disgust: . Look out Seahawks. Not just cause Shack is picking you. Pats should be thankful they aren't playing them.

According to NFL Game center he's back and continues to throw interception like before. I guess that means he's healthy
