 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
They just aren't getting anywhere close to Romo on the pass rush, which is making it easy for Romo to hit guys. This sucks.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Hey! Offensive Line! Protect Favre DAMN IT!!!!!!!!! How is he supposed to throw the ball if Dallas keeps hitting him as he throws it There is no way the Packers will win this game. I'm sad.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Jerod Bush sucks. Charles Woodson is awesome. That's one of many reasons the Packers are getting annihilated.

This is bad. I mean if you loss to Dallas away whatever it happened. But if Favre is really hurt then this is horrible.

Seriously, that was a late hit on the quarterback when that guy pushed Rodgers down after he threw it. Why was that not called?

this is getting ugly.
anything other than a pats/cowboys super bowl would be enormously dissappointing.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
The announcers have it right. That last drive was how the Packers have been winning. Slow, methodical passing game. The Packers are losing this game because either the play callers or Favre were going for too many big plays early.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
If the Packers can find a way to stop Dallas, they could still win. It's only a 10 point game at half...

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
I just want to say screw you to the refs of the game. You call a BS forward progress stopped call when Harris stripped the ball, you call a BS interference call when the legs got tangled which was for 40 yards and led to a Dallas touchdown. Then you spot the ball wrong and force GB to kick a field goal. How much can you screw over one team? It's disgusting.
And kudos to GB for gutting out a decent performance with so many key injuries. Especially Aaron Rodgers. I would love to see these two teams play when both are at full health.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Did Farve hurt his hand or his head (busy watching the Celtics game)? Towards the end of the game he seemed to be running back toward the locker room just fine.
Edit: Never mind, just saw the replay. I don't think he broke anything, but his arm looked a little wobbly.

Wow. If that game wasn't played in Texas the Packers have a shot. 142 penalty yards is BS.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
The Packers are lucky Dallas took their foot off the gas when it was 27-10 early in the second quarter and Farve got hurt. This could have easily been a 45-17 type game had Farve stayed in. So yes I'm happy with this win.

The game may have been a blowout if FAVRE had stayed in, he was not playing well, but it wasn't that close because Dallas "took it's foot of the gas".

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
It was a mirror of the Pats-Colts game...
Except the Pats didn't let the BULL calls get in the way of a perfect season, unlike GB.
But if Charles Woodson would've played... Romo throws 3+ INTS.
Anyways... a STRONG game for Rodgers. Very bright future.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
I was dissapointed Brett got hurt. With him still playing we could've gotten at least 3 more INT. Score would've ended up being 45-20. That backup QB of the Packs played great. 18-26 for 201yds and 1 td is very impressive. Glad he didn't start the game. I'm pissed at our secondary. They let a backup QB drive down for two scores. Fucking sad. TO was awsome in the first half. Pack defense couldn't stop him. TO in the second half pissed me off. WTF! How do u turn a sure td into a int?!! YO COACH! Why the FUCK would u give the ball to Julius Jones on 4TH & 1??? WHY!?! Romo is da muthafucking man. as usual. SCOREBOARDBOYS 37PACKS 27 BOYS 11-1PACKS 10-2 rematch in january.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Also... Did anyone see how upset Favre was after the game?
He was literally choked up...
I think this might be it for him. I would NOT be surprised. If he misses next week... I don't expect him to play again. But he will stick around to be the backup to finish the season and playoffs, JUST IN CASE.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
The game was really in doubt for only a couple of minutes, after TO juggled the ball to the defender. I don't see why Cowboys shouldn't feel good about this game overall. They still have holes on defense, giving up 300+ yards and missed numerous tackles, but their offense was a machine tonight and could've scored 40+ points if not for a TO miscue and failed 4th-and-1 conversion.
