Super Mario Galaxy

5 Grand Stars, 80 Stars, and 18 Hours in.

no where near as far as you. lol, i'm just making it to the junkyard galaxy.i think i have 9 stars so far. i haven't yet sat down for more than couple hours per night. usually when i play it's late already so i play it for a little bit and then hit the sack. starting sunday nite and all day monday i plan on playing it as long as possible cause i'm off work monday. hopefully i'll hit 20 stars by monday night. i've probably played around 5 hours since i got it on tuesday.

i have 11 stars now and i just lost my first battle with the spider bitch on Space Junk Galaxy (any tips on beating her would be great). but man it's fun. round 2 here i go....

WOO HOO! I beat Shelob and now have 12 stars.

Tomb Raider Anniversary (Xbox 360) - Just started in, but it looks like Legend so far (which I liked a lot).

Assassain's Creed - B+


Just finished the game and quite enjoyed it. Looks like Assassain's Creed is going to have a sequel judging from the "ending." I've even read that Ubisoft plans on this being a trilogy. I knew about the "twist" before I played the game but I won't mention it again here except that the "twist" happens pretty much the moment you turn the game on. Anyways, the game looks AMAZING!!!! It has some of the best graphics around. My only real complaint that kept AC from getting an A was the diversity of the missions.... there was no diversity. By the end all the missions started to become repetative but not to the point where I didn't want to play anymore. Before you can assassainte you main target, you have to do research. Reasearch includes pickpocketing, eavesdroping, interrogation, and doing things for Informers. Be prepared because once you do this for the very first guy, it never changes for the rest. Rinse and repeat. Side missons include saving citizens and scaling buildings to get to View points. Once again, these never change. The actual main assassinations are pretty cool. Combat kinda sucks in the begining, but gets alot better after you get some upgrades. The platforming in this game is awesome. Climbing tall buildings and escaping from enemies have never been easier. If i had to compare this game to another, it would definetly be Crackdown.

the run being the right trigger right? or A? and when do i use this? when i'm in combat? because right now, the guy seems to just move a step when i do that.

I feel jipped by the ending because it doesnt explain much. Im not even sure if thats the real ending or that I need to collect all the flags and kill every single 60 templers to unlock it. The computer in the lab did ask for a password so maybe somewhere with the eagle vision you can unlock it

i have 16 stars now and i won my first Bowser battle. YAAHOO!!!

A solid multiplayer mini-game experience with a lot of the flaws of the previous versions. It doesn't do anything truly special than create a bunch of touch screen and microphone-centric minigames (and even then we've seen variations of them in other DS titles), but it at least comes together as a better title than the last console Mario Party design.

Rock Band (Xbox 360) - As I expressed in the RB thread, it's an awesome game. But, for easy future reference (I like to look through this thread on occassion to see my recently played games), here's the highlights:
