Detroit has been dominant. They've had 3 bad games... yet still bounce back.
Giants are OVER RATED.

Tampa Bay CAN be great...

Cleveland is showing signs of greatness, so they may move up quite a bit next week.

But Detroit is just dominant when they play decent.

Giants lost against Dallas and Green Bay who are 8-1. Detroit lost against Arizona (4-5), got blown out by Philly (4-5) and Washington (5-4), both were easily beaten by the Giants. The only win against a team that isn't total crap was against Minnesota - and that came in OT. The Giants might be overrated, but Detroit is the weaker team.
BTW: Why do you still like Chicago so much?

Chicago finds ways to win games. If they lose next week, they'll drop. Probably a lot.

Eli Manning is garbage. The Giants are the NFC's version of the Chargers. An over-rated QB with a good D-Line and good RB.

Post Re: WOKJ NFL Power Ranking Week #13
I'm probably getting flak for this ranking, but since New England has barely won against two mediocre teams, I decided to drop them from #1. Dallas looks stronger at the moment. I'm also dropping the Giants A LOT despite winning because they played really bad the last few weeks. And although they lost, I am keeping Jacksonville ahead of Indy because they were the better team and lost because of some strange umpiring.

Post Re: WOKJ NFL Power Ranking Week #13
w00t! Both Yahoo & Fox Sports have Dallas at #2 on their list.

Quote:
For the second week in a row, the Patriots avoided an upset – against the Ravens this time – to remain in the top spot. The Cowboys, coming off of a big win against Green Bay, are now No. 2 on both sides of the rankings. Indianapolis, Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Jacksonville – all in the top 6 last week – remain in the upper half-dozen, but have all shifted a spot.

Elsewhere around the league, Arizona and Minnesota made sizeable moves upward after reaching .500 with wins over fellow playoff contenders Cleveland and Detroit, respectively.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=A ... &type=lgns

Quote:
The Cowboys made a statement on Thursday, getting the best of the Packers in a greatly anticipated clash between the NFC's two top squads. Tony Romo played like he's played all season — magically. The second-year starter completed 19-of-30 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns in the victory. Dallas extended its best start in franchise history with the win. With four games left, the Cowboys already have their most wins in a season since 1995. That year? The 'Boys won the Super Bowl.

Yes, the Pats are the best team in the NFL. But Power Rankings are not about who is the best team overall, it is about who is currently the best team. And the last 5 weeks the Jags have become the team that everybody - including the Pats - is scared of. And San Diego has become a scary team for every AFL team except the Pats as well..

1. Jacksonville
2. New England
3. San Diego
4. Indianapolis
5. Dallas
6. Green Bay
7. Pittsburgh
8. Tampa Bay
9. Seattle
10. Minnesota
11. Philadelphia
12. Cleveland
13. New Orleans
14. Washington
15. Tennessee
16. New York Giants

25. Carolina
26. St. Louis
27. New York Jets
28. Baltimore
29. Oakland
30. Atlanta
31. San Francisco

Post Re: WOKJ NFL Power Ranking Week #16
I think the Chargers are much more scary than the Jags

The Favorites
1. New England
2. Indianapolis
3. Dallas

The are they for real?
4. Green Bay

The dark horses
5. San Diego
6. Jacksonville

The pretty good but ultimately inconsistent
7. Pittsburgh
8. NY Giants

The mystery - Beat up on crappy teams or legitimately good?
9. Seattle

The division winner by default
10. Tampa Bay

The playoff tweeners - Solid teams, but not in yet
11. Cleveland
12. Minnesota
13. Washington
14. Tennessee

The playoff tweeners - Screwed if they make it
15. New Orleans
16. Arizona
17. Philadelphia
18. Detroit

(PS are some of these teams eliminated? Not up to date with the tiebreakers)
