Re: WOKJ NFL Power Ranking Week #3
I'll do one too 3-0 and lovin it1. New England - They're just owning, and Brady's #s = 2. Indianapolis - Defending champs, 3-0. Closer games than the two teams under, but having Manning still > everyone but NE 3. Pittsburgh - They're laying a romping. 4. Dallas - NFC's best. Rounds out an easy top 4. 5. Green Bay - I could see them dropping but they deserve top 5 credit for being 3-0 if nothing else. The old guard / Almost contenders6. Seattle - Would be 3-0 if not for botched snap in Cards game. Alexander and Hasselback aren't as amazing as they were 2 years ago, but still good enough to maybe be the NFC's 2nd best team in the long run. I also like Holmgrom quite a lot. 7. Baltimore - Still a good defense, once McNair gets truly going they'll be up there again. They almost beat the Colts last year in the playoffs, probably should've actually, they were very legit. Bit rusty so far but I have faith in them. And they're still a good 2-1, even if they haven't been as spectacular as in the past. 8. Philadelphia - I'm like Levy, is it fair to put a 1-2 team this high? I just feel Philly is going to wake up now. They were on their way to being the NFC's best with Chicago last year before McNabb got hurt, and the rest of the team still did quite good after that when they really shouldn't have. I also feel they a) Have proved more and b) Have a better QB/RB combo on paper than the group of teams I'm about to list. The "We sucked last year" crowd9. Tampa Bay - Up here for a few reasons. 1. They're probably going to win their division. With NO out, that leaves Carolina as the biggest threat, who I don't have faith in at all. And they'll probably take it partly due to reason 2. Their schedule is way easy. Other than Indy 2 weeks from now, they have a real shot to win every other game. No NE, Pitts, Dallas, or Green Bay on the sheet at all. Hardest teams are Houston, Washington, Tennessee, Carolina twice... the B crowd. 10. Houston - Probably surprise of the year, put up a fight with the Colts even without one of their stars. They're still only 2-1 though, nothing is set yet. 11. Tennessee - Similar to Houston, they're surpising, can they keep it up? One of these teams is probably going to end up bad or mediocore, if not both, but they've been impressive enough so far to earn this spot. 12. Washington - I still think they're pretty decent. The loss last week was fitting. They aren't quite good enough to be in the 3-0 teams club, and the Giants didn't want to be 0-3... reasonable trade. From Superbowl contender to disappointment, but not out of it13. Chicago - Get rid of Grossman and things are a little sunnier in the Windy City. Still, I can't believe they made it to the Superbowl last year with that offense. 14. San Diego - Norvvvv... Norvvvv... Norvvvv. They still have a talented line-up but are just playing unmotivated and uncreative. If teams are shutting down LT, don't give it to him 25 times a game, jeez. They need a kick in the ass. The "We're 1-2, but we're better than the Probably shouldn't be 2-1 club... right?"15. NY Jets - They've been a playoff team for a few years. Couple of early losses were to good teams(NE and Baltimore), they can rebound. 16. Cincinatti - Another year of "we're almost a contender" for the Bengals. Losing to the Browns is ugly. The "Probably shouldn't be 2-1" club17. San Franciso - They have their fans, but I still haven't seen anything really impressive. Arizona and St. Louis were awfully easy teams to start 2-0 on. 18. Carolina - They could still surprise, but I find nothing exciting about this team at all. Zzz. 19. Jacksonville - Ditto as Carolina. Atlanta, Denver, find me someone worthy to beat. 20. Denver - They're lucky they aren't 0-3 right now. Actually, they probably should be 0-3. Also, losing/almost losing to Buffalo, Oakland, and Jacksonville is nothing to be proud of. The next 4 games will more likely than not be kind of ugly for them, Indy, SD, Pitts, Green Bay. Maybe a chance in the Chargers game but that's about it. 21. Detroit - Yeah, the Lions suck. Let's move on. No comment22. New Orleans We're not the worst in the league. We're still not good.23. Oakland 24. NY Giants 25. Minnesota 26. Arizona 27. Kansas City Here comes the stank28. Cleveland 29. St. Louis 30. Buffalo 31. Miami 32. Atlanta

No one else matters.. These will be the AFC and NFC championship games, and we'll get a preview of the Super Bowl in 2 weeks when the Patriots take on the Cowboys.

#1 Indy (clear #1 after another great road divison game win) #2 New England (they can take it back after beating Indy) #3 Dallas (the way they shutdown Vikings in teh 2nd half was awwsome) #4 Greenbay (they should pass Dallas next week if they beat Denver on teh road) #5 NY Giants (that defense is freaking brutal) #6 Pittsburgh (fell a bit after losing to Denver)

Re: WOKJ NFL Power Ranking Week #8
I'll do a top 10 I guess... 1. New England Patriots - Really the only chance to lose this spot is this Sunday against the Colts (or Brady going down for the season ) 2. Indianapolis Colts - This spot is theirs until a team other than the Pats beats them. That could be the very next week when it's the Colts vs. Bolts. 3. Dallas - I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but I think Green Bay can take them. 4. Green Bay - 3 and 4 are interchangable right now. We'll know if this weeks running game was a fluke when they play KC at Arrowhead. 5. San Diego - They have 3 very impressive wins in a row. They've finally woken up, and despite a lesser record, I think they deserve this spot. 6. Pittsburgh Steelers 7. New York Giants 8. Tennessee Titans 9. Jacksonville Jaguars 10. Detroit Lions Still in the hunt, but they have to step up soon (in no particular order)... Baltimore, Carolina, Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Seattle, New Orleans, Kansas City

Denver is close to being the worst team in the NFL. They are completely horrible, I don't understand WHY people think they're ANY good.
