 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season/offseason kilter
The Cavs have been a mess in preseason without Varejao, Pavlovic. We beat em by 33 tonight and they were playing their full lineup all night long. Their early schedule is tough, so they better sort out the kinks...

Hmm another 30 point win, against the Wiz this time. I'm one of those people who thinks preseason means jack all, but this is still impressive and makes me happy. Delfino and Kapwno look solid. On a side note I can't believe Ford got 6 boards tonight... not something you see every day. And maybe Bargs most all-around killer game, 17 points 8 boards 3 blocks. I like what I see.

Re: NBA 2007-2008 season (Opening Tonight!)
Blazers have some solid players(Alderidge) but they really aren't doing anything but taking turns shooting, not very good ball movement. Lucky Alderidge and Outlaw are hitting shots, otherwise they're losing by 20.

Yeah, so far we've looked like a total one man team. I can't believe how much of a non-factor Roy has been. Granted, it is only game one in a 82 game season, but Roy needs to step it up. If Aldridge can continue playing this well and Roy can improve on his great play of last season, we could actually be pretty decent this season.

Well Roy has Bowen on him, best on man defender in the league, so it's forgiveable. This is actually kind of fun for an opening game. 2 point game now.

Don't like seeing the Raps blow 20 point leads, but good game overall. Bargnani especially, after sitting out almost all of the first half. Ford too.

It's a wonder why the Cavs got rid of those uniforms.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Watched the Pistons vs. Heat last night. I don't want to jump to conclusions off of one game, but it looks like the Heat are going to suck this year, even with Wade back. Detroit didn't look that good, and most of the time were playing their deep bench (Hamilton and Stuckey were out). Still they beat Miami like a drum.
Shaq looks older than ever, and the rest of the team looks like ass. And, I mean ugly fat guy ass on a hot day in August. I'm rethinking my pre-season prediction in which I had Miami at #8 in the East.

Watching Shaq with 0 points in the first half and watching Riley sweat it out with a pained look in his eye was supremely satisfying. Riley has to know it's going to be a long year... I'm sure he'll be faking an illness very soon. Detroit actually looks really deep this year. I like their bench a lot. Maxiel, Hayes, Stuckey, Murray, and Affalo (sp?) are all pretty competent back ups.
