Not by that much if you compare it to last week or the week before, I think. I don't watch either show anymore because I don't have time, but I've seen both and they're pretty good.

I'm loyal to the L&O and have never liked any CSI. I tried watching the vegas one but found it too slow, same with the miami (though I liked the scenary) and NY is just too gloomy looking.

Lost topped the night with just shy of 21 million viewers. Again
Whilst Law and Order ranked second with 14.7 million
and Alias tagged third [but with an exceptional 18-49 demo] with 14.2 million
fourth was CSI: NY with 13.7 Million. Both CSI NY and Law and Order experienced season lows last week as ABC ruled the night yet again.

According to this article from Reuters Lost did close to 23 million viewers. Which is stellar, and Alias did 14.5M, only .2M behind Law and Order for second.
Quote: "Lost" opened the night for ABC with 22.7 million viewers and a 7.8 rating/21 share in the key demo, according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research. "Alias" followed at 9 p.m. with 14.5 million viewers and 6.1/15 in 18-49.
At 10 p.m., ABC's "Wife Swap" (9.7 million, 4.2/11) put up a respectable fight against "Law & Order" (14.7 million, 4.7/12) and "CSI: NY" (13.7 million, 4.7/12).

Im guessing the ABC ratings shifted a little, This means Alias is up over 65% from last seasons same episode.
