Much to my surprise, Lost seems to have leapfrogged over CSI: NY to become the #2 new show of the season. Well done, ABC.

well...this world series certainly had great ratings for its closeout game, as opposed to some notable clinchers from the past few years ('98 especially and then the subway series, heh)...i think it shows who has the more loyal fan base, instead of just a large contingent of fairweather fans...

CSI: NY suffered ALOT from the baseball game and from not being on tv for the past 2 weeks, atleast here in cali it wasnt on the last 2 weeks. I think they even skipped an episode.

I expect CSI:NY to jump back ahead of Law & Order, and Lost too. This may just be a glitch in the ratings for the week.

Hmmm...I thought more people would watch the curse finally be broken.

But still...30 million is a lot of people, i just expected at least 35 million.

Lets not forget that these ratings are the highest they have been for a long time in the world series. Plus, with St. Louis down 3-0, a lot of St Louis fans probably didnt even watch. If this went to a game 7, it would have had ratings A LOT higher.

The ratings with Game 4 seem fine to me, I mean, beating the Yankees in Game 7 was ALOT more important. I mean, 2 million more people watched it, right?
