I was walking around yesterday and saw this poster for Empire Falls. Now I just went by it quickly, so I saw the cast. Ed Harris, Helen Hunt, Paul Newman, PHillip Seymour Hoffman, Aidan Quinn, JOanne Woodward...EVERYONE.

I assumed it was an interesting movie coming up in the autumn. I went onto imdb to look it up, and much to my surprise, its a mini-series.

Looks incredible. Has it already come out, or is it coming out soon? Anyone going to (have already) seen it?

It aired on HBO a little more than a week ago. Didn't watch it, but it seems to be re-aired every other day, so I'll probably catch it eventually.

Ebert & Roeper really liked it, and I was planning on watching it, but I forgot.

But yeah, they're showing it pretty much every day. I think they're re-playing part one tonight, in fact.
