I rewatched the entire original series during quarantine this past winter and honestly it was a super fun and nostalgic experience. The entire cast is great. I was a fan when it was on the air and the early seasons are iconic (the later few are not, but more watchable than I remembered). I fully expect this reboot to be terrible and not as good as the original series but I also fully expect myself to enjoy it on a guilty pleasure level and will watch every episode. I'm excited. I'm glad Kristen Bell is back and I hope there are cameos even if down the line in its run.

I think I stopped watching the original show season 3. I can't believe they made Dan Gossip Girl lolol

This was fun as hell. I kind of cheered when Kristen's narration started again. Excited to see where it goes.

I’m glad you like it and as an OG fan from back then it’s nice to hear Kristen’s narration but the fact and resonating behind the new GG’s identity is so on the nose and ridiculous tbh and the Easter Eggs to the OG were so corny and cringe-inducing, just as I geared. Not fond of it tbh

I just finished the original Gossip Girl today. I've been slowly watching it over the years. Wanted to get it done so I could check out the reboot.

Really dug episode 2. Julien however is not a likable lead character. They need to shift the focus.

Midseason finale was good. The back half of the season returns in November.

I am enjoying this. Bummed I have to wait for the rest of the season but November won't end up being that long a wait.

NOTHING on this reboot will top this iconic was!! Man this show (and the books) was my life when I was 13-15 in 2008-2010, will always be my fav teen drama. I’ve been in the middle of season 2 for a while and need to catch up soon with my full rewatch of the OG

Season 1 Part 2 premieres on Thanksgiving. Can't wait! This trailer is fun.
