 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
At least it's happening prior to filming. But this clearly isn't a good sign.

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
It sounds like the original script involved young Luke, which would’ve been a script writing task so dangerous Sam Mendes should make a one take movie about it
They really dropped the ball not having more blockbuster shows ready to go after Mando

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
First couple episodes were fine. They fall into the trap of most Disney plus shows to date of being mostly setup and nothing much of consequence happening. Also, not nearly enough Anakin! Show us the Christensen!

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
This is the scariest Darth Vader yet. felt like a horror movie with him walking & killing innocents. Star Wars + Halloween = D+ Darth Vader

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
First episode was solid. Baby Leia parts were the best and the Grand Inquisitor and Moses Ingram's villains were pretty good.

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
The show started slow but is getting steadily better.
I wouldn't mind if the next episode only had the Mandolorian in it though...
The inquisitors are so annoying. Especially the Edgelord third sister. And how did she get ahead of Leia when they entered the secret passage like 20 minutes apart from each other?
McGregor is doing a great job though! Looks like a champ even when he's getting squashed by Vader.

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
can't wait for EP4 wonder if Obi Wan, while getting bacta tank treatments, will have a flashback of him and Anakin before Order 66.

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
The Vader scenes in episode 3 were epic
I think there being more seasons of this could work. Characters like Moses Ingram's seems only at the start of a longer villain and eventual redemption arc if she survives, and they can do something with the network. Tala could also be a love interest for Obi-Wan.

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
I predict we will get cameos from both Qui Gon (to help Obi) and Palpi Tine (Reva will try to betray Vader.) That way Vades gets to have a crowd pleasing moment like in Rogue One to end the series.

Most likely for both, but sadly no Jar Jar has been confirmed

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
I hope we have some decent story and character work coming up in addition to some cheap cameos.

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
You'd hope, but the only character arcs we have going are Obi-Wan needing to forgive himself for Anakin's actions (which Qui Gon will help with since its really all his fault anyways) and Reva being overly ambitious (which Palpi will help with since it will lead to her getting iced by Vader.) Where else is the show to go?

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
It still has more of a storyline than the Mandalorian, although weirdly much worse production value. You'd think they'd want to spend money on their Obi Wan adaptation.

 Re: Obi-Wan TV series (Disney+)
Great episode, though Vader not finishing off Reva is a little lame, I guess he wanted to stick it to her by making her die in the gutter though.
