White Lotus Season 2 cast looks solid with Aubrey Plaza and Michael Imperioli

I noticed Aubrey looking great on a cosmo cover a few years ago and realized she's definitely hotter in her mid 30s than she was in April Parks and Rec days now that she comes off as an adult woman, so maybe this can be a breakout role

Watch Black Bear. Maybe not the best movie but Aubrey is volcanicly hot in it.

It looks to me like Amazon LOTR will be really trying to be Game of Thrones - 22 characters

A Song of Ice and Fire: The Fire and Ice Songs.

With Amazon buying MGM it will be sad if Bond goes TV now. Although it sounds like they don't own all of it. They might go for the Star Wars model and kind of make spin offs. Maybe that's what they do with the Lashana Lynch character. I wouldn't mind seeing old man Brosnan version back in the role as a mentor to young guy or finding long lost son or something, although I think you would have to choose between that universe and the Craig one. Although since Judi Dench was M. in both if you really wanted to come up with some explanation for their being 2 "James Bonds" I supposed you could.

They will also probably do something with Stargate.

F Murray Abraham not being in Mythic Quest Season 3 is a bummer

That 90s Show to return with basically the entire cast except Masterson obviously (Topher, Kunis, Kutcher, Prepon, Valderamma, and the actors who played Eric's parents)

Edit - Looks like they will just be guest appearances and the regular cast members is really grandparents+kids.

Sounds like the Fuller House approach. I'm kind of into this. I'm sure it'll be corny but so was the original. I like the idea of Eric's parents being the main stars with Eric and Donna's kids.

Lots of renewals and cancellations this week. The only one I'm disappointed about is guilty pleasure sitcom B Positive. It was watchable, light, harmless. Nice assembly of older actors in supporting roles. But I did prefer Season 1 to Season 2. Not sure what Chuck Lorre's obsession is with completely retooling shows. Did the same to Mom, where the first two or three seasons and the last two or three seasons were basically two different shows.

Kind of surprised CBS cancelled Magnum PI. Never watched but CBS more or less lets any crime drama run for a decade.

I think it would have been nice if they had Wilmer or something full time to be the single “uncle” guy but he has an NCIS gig these days

Although it’s moot for me personally as Netflix original for me = doomed quality wise

Jodie Foster to be lead in True Detective Season 4. Nice

Raised by Wolves cancelled by HBOMax.

Surprised by that. Saw the first two episodes and it was a little dense but interesting. The actors who play Mother and Father would be great fits for the Alien prequel and Gladiator sequel respectively.

NOOO!!! GRRM will get even further behind on finishing Winds of Winter!

I'd like to see it, of course, but wait at least 30 years to give GRRM some extra time to finish the book(s).

I don't really want to see him hanging out with the wildlings. Best would be if someone else signed up like Sophie Turner.

Kit Harington went all in. I guess he wasn't feeling too great about his movie career.

Gwendoline Christie also said she wants in

The Snow sequel is seriously the best GOT related news since 2017. I think it could be great as long as Snow gets out into the world again off-course (not set it just among the wildlings).

It could help partially erase the sour taste left by S8.

I've given up on GRRM finishing the main series anyway.

Well, what if these 58-year-olds LIKE the current shows? Just because they're nearing senior citizen age, doesn't mean they want to watch shows about old people having health problems, struggling to finance their retirement, checking things off a bucket list, etc. Who wants to be reminded they're getting old?

I know many older folk who enjoy/enjoyed Supernatural, for example. Maybe they like watching shows featuring younger people doing younger people things.
