I'm a big Survivor fan but I've never watched a BB season in my life. I guess I should try it out. |

Big Brother basically takes that post-immunity challenge, pre-tribal council segment of Survivor (where they all scramble to figure out who to vote out) and stretches it out over the course of three episodes a week. Add in some challenges, some silly romantic subplots (that are all the same) and some other antics, and that's Big Brother. Trashy yes but once you get past the first week (especially the introductory episode, which has been cringe from day one), if you can get invested, it's compelling. And it helps that it's on in the summer. |
