Post subject:  Comedy Sketch Shows

I adore sketch shows. Thinking about it, it was the comedy format that I was brought up watching. Those, and stand-up. From the likes of The Two Ronnies and A Bit of Fry & Laurie to the likes of Harry Enfield and Chums and The Fast Show to more modern day ones like Dead Ringers, and I loved all of them. I've never fallen for the American sketch shows like Saturday Night Live, but I know many like it.

My favourite sketch shows are That Mitchell & Webb Look and The Armstrong & Miller Show (the one on BBC, not Channel 4 - not because I dislike it, I just don't think I ever saw it). These two are head and shoulders above the rest. Other good ones are Spoons (and Kevin Bishop's solo sketch show), and some impression-based sketch shows; Alistair McGowan's Big Impression, and Bremner, Bird and Fortune. I don't want to rank sketch shows because all of them can make me laugh depending on the sketch. The Two Ronnies is also very clever. And some run for 4 or more series, and I cannot remember each and every sketch and how I feel about them as a whole.

I have watched tons of sketch shows but sadly I have forgotten the names of some really good ones. I hope to try and track them down.

But I love sketch shows. Who also loves sketch shows? And which ones do you love?
