This supernatural mystery series premieres on Cinemax on Friday, June 3rd. It is created by The Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman, and Adam Wingard (You're Next, The Guest) directs the pilot.

I'll check it out. Looks very Supernatural-ish.

This series has admirable elements, particularly its foreboding atmosphere, but its pace is almost too deliberate relative to the content (a fairly standard exorcism-story setup so far). I am not sure it earns how leisurely it is, and I find myself longing for a dose of Ash vs Evil Dead insanity now and then.

I will stay with it, though.

On second thought, I am going to drop this from my regular television rotation. It is just not clever or novel enough to stay on the right side of the line separating deliberate/slowly burning and simply dull.

I think I caught the first episode of this and was interested. It had some interesting use of sound effects/music which I liked and the whole exorcism he performed was intense. I don't have Cinemax so I won't be able to keep up sadly.

Patrick Fugit was an awful choice for the lead.

Thanks to this show, I will get to meet Philip Glennister on Saturday and as a huge "Life on Mars"/"Ashes to Ashes"-fan I couldn't be more excited. :)
