Crazy Ex Girlfriend
Just watched the first four episodes. Did not expect it but this show is BRILLIANT! Rachel Bloom is sublime. It's hilarious and clever. So, so, so good. Glad I finally started it.

Are you kidding? This is right up your alley. Have you even watched it? It reminds me of how last year I thought the CW show Jane The Virgin would be awful but then it got great reviews so I watched it and it was wonderful. Same thing happened here. Did not expect such a delight. The musical numbers are awesome and hilarious.

The pilot was hugely obnoxious.

It gets better after the pilot, IMO. Did you watch the one that eventually aired on the CW?

I saw the original pilot for Showtime and the new pilot. Wasn't a fan of either.

I really think you need to give it another chance. We all know shows often improve and I just can't understand you not liking this. It seems like one you'd love. Try the second episode.

They seriously need to put out soundtracks for this show. I need them.

I can't get iTunes on my computer though. I've tried multiple times. It just won't install.

Re: Crazy Ex Girlfriend
So I caught up on this a while back in late February and it actually ended up becoming one of my favorite shows of the season. It's delightful and fun, and the songs are great.
Just bumping this up because the first season has already been released on Netflix in case anyone was looking to catch up on it. Seems they did a quiet drop of this and "Jane The Virgin" season 2 on July 1st.

Great. Now I can tell all of my friends to watch it. I mean I had been doing that but everyone was waiting for it to hit Netflix since there wasn't anywhere else they could stream them all for free.

Yeah. It sucks though because with The CW's new deal their shows will be on Netflix faster but they are taking them off Hulu. That's a bad idea, IMO. Every single CW show I watch I watched on Hulu (including this one).

So they won't be on Hulu the next day anymore? That stinks.

I've watched 10 episodes of season 2 so far. I waited until the season was over to binge once it hit Netflix.
Season 2 is OK and has had some good songs but is a major step down from the first season, IMO.
Omg this show is everything and HELL NO the second eason is as good as the first.
Pure GOLD. That dinal scene of Rebbeca and her squad serving all the josh hate was pure bliss

Re: Crazy Ex Girlfriend
Wow. Season 3 is fucking revelatory.
I just caught up. First off, the end of #305 was maybe the most important scene on television this year. I was sobbing. Rachel Bloom deserves an Emmy for that scene alone.
Also #306 was a beautiful and joyous episode.
I can't believe how deep they're going with the topics at hand this season.

Re: Crazy Ex Girlfriend
I finally caught up recently. I thought the first few episodes of season 2 were really weak and uninteresting so I fell way behind on this show. Finally decided to try and get back into it and it started to get better and just kept improving. It definitely became amazing again. Went fairly dark in season 3 which I appreciated. Rachel Bloom is so fantastic. I adore Scott Michael Foster on it. He's easily the best love interest Rebecca has had.
This show is criminally under-watched but I fully believe it will be discovered for years to come. Will be pissed if there's not a season 4.

I just finished season 3. This scene in episode 11 made me cry. Incredibly powerful and so relatable.
Rachel Bloom was amazing this season and deserves an Emmy nomination.

I'm predicting it will get renewed. The creators have a four season plan and I can't see The CW not letting them finish that out. Also, the network just expanded their programming lineup to Sundays so there's more space on their schedule next year.

Loved this since Season 1. Season 2 only got better in second half but Season 3 was great overall. Will this end after Season 4?
Season 3 reminded me of Buffy season 6. Only better.
Her sucide attempt on the planes was heartwrecking. I amnso glad they got their four seasons plan right. I feel this show needs to end with Rebecca single and loving herself, with Paula buenas her side
