Lost is still holding up well.
Also, are these ratings normal for Smallville? Seems very low.

Looks like LOST is ust not gonna be where it had peaked earlier this year. It's been pretty steady in the 17 million viewers.
ALIAS finally got above 10 million viewers again, but it's really messed up how Stacked beat out ALIAS by a million solely by the fact that it's after American Idol.
The finale was okay for JAck and Bobby, not the best writing of the season. But a good finish. No cliffhanger or anything.
The rating was very disappointing. I thought the finale could get at least 3 million. Then again AI was pretty high and ALIAS piked too in the 9pm hour, so it's tough competition.
I won't be surprised if it's cancelled, but I am actually expecting a renewal, or I was. I thought if it did decent in the finale ratings then WB would almost defintely keep it, since they're always a bit more open minded and giving a chance to many shows. But the ratings didn't peak, so I don't know.

I thought last nights finale of J&B was one of the best episodes of the season, especially the acting with J&B at the motel, and with Jack and his Father at the prison. It would have been odd of them to have a cliffhanger when they knew the future of the show was highly suspect.
This show was never going to get renewed on the strength of its ratings for the final episode or for the season as a whole, it's been running solely on critical praise for quite a while. Expecting a 50% rise in ratings simply because it's a finale would be unrealistic. So last night's ratings haven't changed my opinion on whether or not it's going to be picked up. I'm still hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.
Smallville had 3.83 Million viewers, which is down from the 4.36 Million it had last week

It lost more than half of American Idol's audience. Yeah...fantastic
Good for Alias though, and...does anyone think Jack & Bobby could work after 7th Heaven? I know, it makes me cringe too. But ratings-wise I think it could be a smart move, though I doubt they'd move Everwood. I know I'd watch it if it was on pretty much any other night.

Big deal - that is still great. Especially since they are such different shows.

And as I haven't watched the ratings recently.
Look at how much of Alias lost of Lost's ratings
That seems pretty bad.
1. "American Idol" (FOX) - 17.3/25
2. "Lost" (ABC) - 12.4/19
3. "Law & Order" (NBC) - 10.6/17

Actually, thats really good. Considering it was AGAINST AMERICAN IDOL! Plus, Stacked lost about 60% of its LEAD IN, while Alias lost...I dont know, 40-45%.....and that was AGAISNT American Idol, not AFTER American Idol liked Stacked.

Alias lost less than 40% of Lost's(hehe) audience.
HUGE improvement over The Bachelor's numbers (even though it wasn't up against American Idol.)
