Since fall TV officially starts in a few weeks, what will you be watching during the new season?
My tentative schedule is as follows.
Sunday:
"Homeland" (Showtime)
"The Affair" (Showtime)
"The Leftovers" (HBO)
"The Good Wife" (CBS)
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (FOX)
"The Last Man On Earth" (FOX)
Not sure which I'll be watching live yet. October 4th is going to be the worst because the top four all premiere on the same day. I may give "Blood & Oil" and "Quantico" a chance but both seem kind of bland. We'll see. I think I have to give up on "Once Upon A Time" unless they get some amazing guest star or announce it's the final year - I don't know how much more I can take.
Monday:
"Supergirl" (CBS)
"Gotham" (FOX)
"Jane The Virgin" (The CW)
"Awkward" (MTV)
"Faking It" (MTV)
Easily the simplest night, especially since I usually watch the MTV shows on demand.
Tuesday:
"The Flash" (The CW)
"Scream Queens" (FOX)
"The Grinder" (FOX)
"The Muppets" (ABC)
"iZombie" (The CW)
"Limitless" (CBS)
"The Mindy Project" (Hulu)
"Finding Carter" (MTV)
I'm pretty confident I'll enjoy "Scream Queens" and "The Grinder," and I'm willing to give "Limitless" a shot for a few episodes. Not sure if that one will stick if it leans too heavily on its procedural element.
Wednesday:
"The Goldbergs" (ABC)
"Modern Family" (ABC)
"Empire" (FOX)
"Nashville" (ABC)
"Arrow" (The CW)
"American Horror Story: Hotel" (FX)
"Nashville" may finally get cut this season if it continues to suck. Last season was a chore to get through. I'll give it a shot early on though with the hope that Hayden Panettiere gets more to do this year.
Thursday:
"Grey's Anatomy" (ABC)
"Scandal" (ABC)
"How To Get Away With Murder" (ABC)
"Sleepy Hollow" (FOX)
"Mom" (CBS)
Of these I may cut "Scandal" as I hate it most of the time
But we'll see. I think I'm dropping "The Vampire Diaries" this year which I watched for the past few seasons as I just don't care anymore.Friday:
