 Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
I am not sure. I have always loved the Sleepy Hollow story, from the original Washington Irving tale to the Disney animated short to the Tim Burton film, so I would love for this to be a fun, cool interpretation, but I am not sure if the elements will come together comfortably (or if it will survive on Fox). I am intrigued, though. It premieres at 9pm on Monday, September 16th.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
I initially thought this seemed awful, but it's getting solid reviews and FOX has done a great job promoting it. I'm planning on tuning in tonight.

This was so silly, but once you got past that it was pretty fun. I'm curious to see how it does as the rest of the season seems intriguing.

I had planned on DVRing this last night, but, each promo looked more lame than the previous one. I'll watch the re-air Friday - not expecting much.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
The pilot was OK. It's funny though that they're aiming for seven seasons already (prophecy of seven-year partnership).

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
I just caught up with the pilot. I enjoyed it a lot. Absurd, but fast-paced, atmospheric, and well-acted by the two charismatic leads. I hope it stays on point throughout the season.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
Tonight's episode was fun with the Sandman. This show is very entertaining and also pretty cool on a visual level. It doesn't take itself seriously at all and that's OK - it's part of the fun. I actually think the two leads are giving good performances so far too and have great chemistry.
I'm expecting this to be the first series to get a full season order this year.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
Yeah, I said it on the renewal thread that I like this approach also. It's a successful show so far and I think that if they keep up the nice pace of the story like they're doing so far this could do good for them next year also, despite the long wait.
That being said episode 3 was slightly under both episode 1 and 2 in my opinion, but I still like the show. It doesn't take itself too seriously and just goes with whatever it's heading toward. And I like that very much.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
I fell out of this. I am not 100 percent sure why. It is entertaining in its own fractured-fairytale way and has a few neat visual flourishes, but it just never completely entranced me to the extent required to tune in regularly.

This show is such a blast. Last night's episode was really entertaining. It's definitely one of the best new series of the year.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
This show is such fun, I wish it got more love. Ichabod and Abby play off each other so well, and I feel like Jenny should be around more, because she adds an extra dynamic.
Really enjoyed Monday's episode, but since I could have probably just watched Abby make Ichabod try on modern clothes for an entire hour, I feel like my brain's just completely enticed and incredibly biased.

I'm kinda both sad and happy there are only 2 more episodes this season.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
Such a crazy, awesome season finale! So many cliffhangers! I was expecting either Katrina or Henry was going to be evil but didn't expect the reveal at ALL that Henry was their son. Really excited to see where the second season goes. I hope Abbie's sister isn't really dead.
This was honestly one of the biggest surprises of the season for me. It's such a blast. I hope people catch up on it before season 2. Nicole Beharie and Tom Mison are two really great finds - love both of their performances and their chemistry.

It was a great season finale and a hell of a cliffhanger. John Noble is a great actor and hope to see him as a recurring character next season.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
The season premiere was absolutely awesome. So many twists and turns. It was one of the best episodes the show has produced yet and made me really excited for the season ahead. Ichabod and Abbie are just the best together.

Great episode last night! Hopefully this twist of Katrina being a mole will actually make her interesting. Ichabod at the bank was hilarious.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
The Pied Piper storyline tonight was so ridiculous/hilarious. Abbie and Ichabod's banter was the best part. Loved the car scene at the beginning as well as them at the café at the end.

 Re: Sleepy Hollow (Fox)
For a split second last night I thought they were going to make Katrina the person behind Mary's death, which would have been an awesome twist that could have made that character interesting (finally!). But of course it was a wrong-place/wrong-time situation and she continues to suck Really fun episode though.
