I've been thinking about watching the first two seasons because the promos for this season are really, really good. With that being said, I watched six or so episodes of the first season as it was airing and I wasn't a huge fan.

I like it and Vera is great, but it's missing the addictive quality that made season 1 so good.

Last night's episode was the best of the season so far, IMO. Norma's confrontation with Alex was a great moment and the ending was crazy. I also liked seeing Bradley back. Does anyone else think she might be a hallucination?

The last 15 minutes were fucking crazy and haunting. This entire season has been great. I have no idea how the final season is going to look now.

Yeah, it was a perfect conclusion to the show. Like Breaking Bad, I kind of knew what key points they would hit, and they were the perfect way for the show to go.

I'm really glad they didn't opt for a lesser ending with Norman in a mental institution. Too open-ended. The character deserved to die. And it was oddly beautiful in its tragedy. Norman had to die, but like Walter White, I was quietly sad for him too. The show rode that line between psychopath and tortured soul. You wanted to have a normal Norman, but it wasn't going to happen. Kudos to the writers for crafting what is, for better or worse, a perfect series. It may not ever get the same praise as shows like Breaking Bad, but it should at least be considered an honorable mention as one of the greatest shows.


Also proves that nothing is untouchable as far as remakes or continuations go. Psycho probably should never have been touched, especially after the '98 version, but Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin not only did the original justice, they did a damn fine counterpart to it.
