This show looks so awesome! I hope this can survive past season 1. It's also from the creators of the criminally underrated but sadly cancelled, Don't Trust the B in Apt 23

Any thoughts on this funny trailer?

ABC is testing out two episodes before and after Modern Family on February 4th. I hope the sampling can translate to at least "decent" ratings.

It doesn't look any more potentially racially offensive than Black-ish, so maybe.

I was lucky enough to see the first 3 episodes in advance this past weekend and you will be laughing for days after watching every episode (based on what I have seen).

I hope it can get renewed.

It is just about to end. Much better than Black-ish, which I thought was pretty bad. The characters are all pretty good, i'd say the dad is the weakest.

In the 2nd episode, the dad was much better. Overall, the mom is really entertaining me.

It was good. I'll keep watching. So ABC now has 80's family comedy, 90's family comedy and 3 10's family comedies. we're missing for the 00's.

it's very enjoyable and relatable, I'm a little nervous about it's Tuesday spot though. Not expecting a renewal.

Catching up on Tuesday's episodes. I almost lost it when Jessica barked "this is not a duet!" in the middle of "I Will Always Love You." Constance Wu is incredible, where did she come from? Emmy nom plz?

I think I saw what were the first two episodes. I liked it. I'm not sure if it's appointment TV like Modern Family is, but I'll watch if I can remember that it's on Tuesday.

I watched the second and third episodes today and both were hilarious. Move this to Wednesday and cancel "The Middle" ABC!

What is the point of the Middle? I don't get how it and Modern Family are different aside from the actors. And the Middle family isn't as wealthy. Is there supposed to be a gimmick?

ABC - Keep the Middle and promote FOB to a better timeslot.

Well, "Modern Family" is actually funny and doesn't star Satan.

If ABC was going to cancel something, they would probably cancel The Goldbergs or Black-ish first, because they get less viewers. But depending on demographics and shit I don't understand, maybe their ratings are better than The Middle.

"The Goldbergs" has been doing better in the demo recently than "Black-ish" and "The Middle" so it's safe, since that's all most networks care about.

If ABC was choosing only two to keep between The Middle, The Goldbergs and Black-ish, they would most likely can The Middle. It's already reached syndication and it is no doubt the most expensive to produce considering its age.

I think this is all moot, though. I see ABC renewing all of its current comedies, especially if Fresh Off the Boat continues to hold its numbers. Well, maybe not Cristela.

And they're from Indiana aka "Middle" America.

Even though Thompsoncory is right in that it stars Satan, I actually like it. It's nowhere near in quality Modern Family, but it's good for a few laughs.

Who's Satan?

Also please stop with cancelling The Middle. It's seriously underrated. And Fresh Off the Boat will survive if it keeps current ratings which I'm hoping it will. IMHO The Middle/The Goldbergs works great as they're both a sort of a throwback to more classic family comedy shows.

OMG everything about this last episode gave me life.

The sexual harassment video? Jessica and "the nightly news." Constance Wu is a revelation.
