This show is ridiculous. Watching it back to back with the much better-written "Grey's" and "How To Get Away" really made it evident to me that the writing is mostly terrible. That whole confrontation between Darby Stanchfield and Kerry Washington was unintentionally hilarious.

Yet, I'll continue watching because I hate myself. I hope they kill Huck

Joe Morton continues to be the best part of this show, and Kerry...tries her best Also didn't mind Mellie, her new persona was pretty humorous.

Also Portia DeRossi's hair looked hideous

It's not that bad!, Scandal was great tonight, better trhan Grey's at least.

The writing is SO bad. It's like bad "West Wing" fanfiction.

On the contrary, I thought the premiere was pretty darn good. It seems like the show is settling down a bit after season 3's madcap histrionics which I think is the right call.

Mellie was giving me life in this episode as usual. "It's 1976 down there."

I enjoyed the season premiere so much. I'm so glad to see Olivia Pope solving cases again. Mellie and Abby were my favorites last night!!

Mellie stood out last night BIG TIME. My favorite scene in this episode was Abby educating Mellie. For once, Fitz was not a douche to Mellie. Glad to see him be on her side.

Mellie is my favorite character this season especially last night's episode when she had that funny moment enjoying her apples.

This episode was more like it. If only for Liv's epic freaking takedown of those gross parents. We need much more of that Olivia Pope and less of the whimpery, lip quivering one.

After Fitz's self-righteous speech of indignation (like all his speeches are) directed at Mellie, I wanted her to murder him dead right in the middle of the White House. Even though that'd be sad because Tony Goldwyn is my ultimate DILF crush for all times.

This was a badass episode. Liv being stronger than last week just made me so happy. She standing up for the president's daughter was so awesome of her. I'm not usually a fan of Quinn but her trying to choke out the guy who had knowledge of the Karen's scandal was amazing. My favorite part was when Liv screamed at the parents for trashing Karen and not taking responsibility for their son being involved.

Also, Mellie is still my favorite character this season and the last few minutes was shocking. I wonder what Papa Pope is going to do with Tom and Jake next week.

Papa Pope is a huge cunt.

This was the first episode where I actually liked Olivia in a long time.

Meanwhile, the scene between Lauren and Mellie was crazy last night. It looked like she was going to go kill her last night!

Abby was so sassy when she confront Fitz. I loved when she schooled Cyrus. Olivia is really standing up for herself more to Fitz! She really loves Jake.

I have a feeling that Mama Pope is going to show up for the Fall Finale!

I'm glad to see Mellie being happy again especially when she was communicating with another first lady, Bitsy!

I loved Abby that she almost was going to expose Charles, only to find that he dropped out of the race. That was karma on him for abusing her. I am SO HAPPY that Liv and Abby are friends again.

It's about time that Liv stood up to her father and is finally going against him. The monologue of Tom talking to Olivia was aces, too.

I can't wait for Liv, Jake and Fitz to take down her father!!

I would cry with happiness if this show killed off Huck. I hate his character so much

While I loved last night's episode, he was quite irritating. I would not be bothered if he gets killed off next week.

Papa Pope is quite evil and never underestimate him!

Papa Pope is officially the baddest badass in tv history.

He single handedly owned Olivia, the president, the FBI, and "captain" Ballard.

2 months and 8 days until new episodes come back. That ending for the winter finale had me at !

I mean, no other character introduced to this show will ever come close to Papa Pope.But yay! at bringing new villians to the show.

I cannot believe the president will go to war to save Olivia, lmao-

I'm not the biggest fan of this show but the midseason premiere is FANTASTIC so far.

Well, this episode was batshit bananas in the best way possible. I missed you, Scandal.

I missed Shondaland SO MUCH.
