I'm completely expecting the Tatiana Maslany snub again. Unacceptable when she puts on the second best performance from a woman on TV.

Hoping and praying for a "Good Wife" Drama Series nomination. And a Tatiana Maslany nomination (though I'm not expecting it).

What do we think the big surprises are going to be?

Any final no guts, no glory predictions?

-Woody Harrelson is nominated.

-Dean Norris is nominated.

-Only three of the six main Modern Family actors will be nominated.

McConaughey will beat Cranston. I almost think Woody's nomination and Dean Norris's snub could end up favoring True Detective overall. I don't know what to think. BB is perfection, but TD was so, so awesome.

The writing and directing nods will paint a better picture at who is favored here. There are a couple of unfortunate snubs in guest categories for both BB and TD as well.

In Writing, BB has two (Ozymandias and Felina) to TD's one (episode 5), while they each have one nod for directing (Felina for BB, episode 4 for TD).

Rian Johnson horribly snubbed for Ozymandias direction.

Also, the Emmys nearly put my eye out with their massive erection for Jimmy Fallon. Ugh. Was I dreaming? Was there not a time ten years ago when EVERYBODY hated Jimmy Fallon?

Maybe Woody's nom kind of splits a few votes with McConaughey and Cranston wins.

That's the only one where TD can beat BB. And i kinda want them to go empty handed so it all blows up in HBO 's face.

Cranston will win. BB will win. It's like the Emmy's just went through Twitter and decided to nominate everything people are obsessed with.

The only nomination I care about is FUTURAMA FUCK YES.

OITNB has to end MF's streak. And they're taking at least one acting nod.

Modern Family is fucked. No writing noms, three of the main cast snubbed, major competition from OINTB and Veep. Frasier's streak will go undefeated. In fact the only way it wins is if the voters want it to try Frasier's 5 and 0 run for its first five years.

The flip side of the coin: Veep is still tragically underseen while OITNB may be too far to the side of different (a Netflix series?) for the Emmy voters.

I think Woody's nom secures TD's place in the running, but for the show to get in under Drama series under a weird technicality (apparently because it's credited as "Created By Nic Pizzolatto", that's why it could enter drama and not miniseries) could be the reason BB cleans up.

BB also has 16 nominations, which helps its chances.

Maybe BB and TD will split Actor votes and it'll go to Jeff Daniels again. Canyaimagine?

If Tatiana Maslany had been nominated over virtually any of the actual nominees, I think this would be as close to a satisfying list of nominees as the Emmys could possibly produce. Any of the other snubs would be forgiven.
