 "Mom" (Season 1)
Premieres tonight! I've seen the pilot and it's pretty funny. It works solely because of the cast - Anna Faris and Allison Janney are both great in it and this show has some potential if the writing gets up to par with their considerable talents. However, it could go the way of "2 Broke Girls," which started well and then quickly became obnoxious. I love the two leads so much though that I plan on sticking with it for at least a while.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
I am not too interested, but I might give it a shot because of the stars.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
Love Anna Faris and Allison Janney. I just hope it doesn't become as dumb as 2 Broke Girls (which I somehow still watch, it's probably my guiltiest pleasure on TV).

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
After watching the pilot this will definitely be a lot different I think than 2.5 Men/Big Bang Theory. It had some funny moments but I think it needs to handle it's mix of comedy and drama moving forward.
Faris and Janney though were very good.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
This was pretty good. It's actually more reminiscent of Chuck Lorre's Grace Under Fire than anything else.
Anna Faris is a natural sitcom lead, it's surprising it took this long. Allison Janney great as usual. And Badger from Breaking Bad shows up to play a character named...Baxter. lol

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
I don't think I'll ever get over the disappointment of what Anna Faris has done to her face. She used to be so pretty.
Anyway, I thought the show was pretty cute. I'll keep watching.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
Tonight's episode was a lot better than the pilot. Laughed quite a bit.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
I found episode #2 a little dull. I actually laughed (err, chuckled) more at the 2 Broke Girls episode before it, which seems rather ominous considering how stupid that show is. I'll keep watching though.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
I really enjoyed the second episode. It's just a lot of fun.
(I also am really enjoying 2 Broke Girls this season).

Watched the last two episodes tonight. I think it's really funny. I would love to see this show make it.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
Last night's episode was decent but my least favorite so far. The laugh track really brings this show down IMO. It's so overbearing.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
The last episode with Octavia Spencer was the best one yet. HYSTERICAL!

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
This show is slowly finding its groove. Allison Janney was hysterical in last night's episode with her menopausal shenanigans.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
It was such an obvious joke but the latest episode's gag with Allison Janney and the cat made me burst out laughing I hate the daughter and boyfriend though. They can leave.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
This is literally like the only show I am looking forward to every week. I absolutely adore it. If it doesn't get renewed, I'll be pissed.

Yeah. It kinda became really hilarious. Allison Janney steals the show though.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
It will probably be renewed. I think it's still just good but it has potential - it works best when it's just Allison Janney and Anna Faris. The other characters annoy me.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
So...this show has really become quite good. It's starting to remind me more than a little of Roseanne, which similarly blended working class sitcom humor with potent dramatic tropes.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
So I'm a few episodes behind. Do they find ANY reason to have the Gabriel character on the show? I find the subplot involving him cheating with Anna Faris to be pointless and distracting from the show. I also don't find much point in Matt Jones' character, except that I still love him from Breaking Bad.

 Re: "Mom" (Season 1)
Caught up on the past 3 episodes today. This show has definitely improved throughout the season. It's still flawed but it's consistently enjoyable.
