I saw the pilot today and it was okay. I saw the version that had Parker Posey in it. I hope Jenna Elfman is better than her because Posey was definitely miscast. The dog was cute and I like the idea of a blind father trying to overcome his obstacles. However, the storyline was did not click with me based on this episode. JK Simmons and Parker Posey are great actors but were miscast. Katie and Henry were decent, though.

Verdict: Unless the future episodes improve on the quality of the pilot, I see this one getting cancelled by May. Grade: B-
