 Anyone watched "Luther"? I am just starting its third (and final) season. It's a gritty British cop drama starring Idirs Elba. VERY powerful stuff.

Re: Anyone watched "Luther"? I started binge watching the first two seasons on Netflix 2 months ago. Pretty good stuff especially when Luther is paired with Alice who seems to be mostly absent in season 2. Hopefully she has more appearances in season 3

Re: Anyone watched "Luther"? Yes. I LOVE it. Alice is so fucking awesome. She was in the second season a lot less because of Ruth Wilson's obligation to Lone Ranger. She's not in the third season aside from the last episode but she has a big return that is teased throughout the previous three episodes.
Some of the episodes are super intense and quite a few are legitimately scary.
Idris is also great in this role. I hope the rumored feature adaptation comes to fruition.

Re: Anyone watched "Luther"? Tried it. Could not get into it. Idris Elba is solid, but the series has this hyperbolic, rushed quality. And it relies too heavily on super-cop-is-super moments in which Luther's random predictions and leaps in logic always pan out at the last second.
