Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Two days!
Despite season threes flaws... They really did a lot of good things to improve the show. They killed off the two worst female characters. They added in a badass villain. They added a *hopefully* badass Tyreese.
More Rick, more Daryl, more zombie killing, less baby.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
The Governor's whereabouts need to be addressed - sooner, than later. A prolonged unknown will only make it more tedious and annoying.
I'm hoping they rebound from a horrible season 3 finale.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I, again, had way too many issues with the premiere. It's so fucking draggy. I don't understand how this show continues to slaughter ratings records.
My two biggest complaints:
-Having one kid on the show was too much. We don't need six... er, five.
-Killing off characters I only met 25 minutes ago doesn't work on me. I'm pretty sure it went something like "Oh hey, Beaver from Veronica Ma-oh, he's dead."
I don't get what happened at the end. Did Milhouse get infected by a walker or something else?

I think D'angelo Barksdale may have some sort of infection(hes somehow able to supress it) that passed onto Paul Peffier of the Wonder Years.. I mean he did have some very weird moments when he was phasing out at the supermarket and I don't think it has to do with his lack of alcohol.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I think this set up a lot of different directions this season can take.
Michonne is still hunting for the Governor They've come to accept their fate, and are learning how to live again (like Magnus said) They're about to be attacked from the inside I'm guessing there are going to be a lot more insane people/cannibals coming along Is there some other infection going around?!

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
There was alot of positives in the premiere, but I don't like The Governor's location being a mystery. It's almost as if they're going to re-introduce him. He is basically getting the Morgan treatment, to a lesser extent. Mister Ecks wrote: I don't get what happened at the end. Did Milhouse get infected by a walker or something else? I'll take a wild guess and say it's in the water somehow.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
The one thing I'll always love this show for... Outside of Rick/Carl/Daryl I don't think anyone is ever "safe" from a gruesome attack/death.

Magnus wrote: as for the Governor....I'm okay with him being a mystery. The show already had its Rick vs. Governor plot. It doesn't need to bring that back up so soon again. It's not like you have to continue the Rick vs Governor storyline to keep him(The Governor) in the mix. All I'm saying is, it would be nice to know what he is up to. The viewer deserves that much.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Eh, it is solid, but I never find the series amazing on an aesthetic/visual level. Not in the way, say, Boardwalk Empire is or the way the best episodes of Masters of Horror were. The Walking Dead could use more atmosphere.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Really good episode. The beginning at night with the chick and no music was really well done. And now Rick is back to being Rick.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
So Rick walks out of the infected zone, hugs his son, and then sends his son to stay with the others who haven't been exposed? Aw, WALKING DEAD.
But I'm enjoying this season so far.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Except Carl didn't go. Because as Rick said later, they should stay away from the baby.
(Although that's what I got from it. I'm assuming Rick was acting rash having just discovered the virus.)

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
So am I to assume the water is still infected? Tyreese's girlfriend did splash her face with it at the start of the episode.
I mean, unless this flu thing pans out.

We don't know yet, I guess. I would guess the water? But would that explain those poor little piggies getting sick?

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Maybe.
I will admit that last night's attack on their utopian existence made me appreciate the premiere episode a lot more. It gave us a glimpse at their happily-ever-after-given-the-circumstances before the shit hit the fan. Again.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
My DVR did not record the last two or three minutes of tonight's episode. Did Rick accuse Carol? How did she respond? Did I miss anything else?

I'm really enjoying this season (duh because I'm not a loser like TDS). I hope Glen doesn't die

Beth is hotter than Maggie.

Maggie is hotter. But that's not to say Beth is not very attractive.
