Anyone else watch this delightful series? Season 2 premiered this past Sunday and the writing is as razor sharp as ever. Such biting insults and on-point political mockery. The cast is just so great too.

Yes. The premiere was hilarious. I loved Amy and her sister's interactions in the hospital.

I laughed way too hard about the lipstick getting on the floor. This show also has by far the best insults on television.

Also, I think Julia Louis-Dreyfus is ageless. The woman is in her 50s and looks considerably better now than she did in the first couple of years of Seinfeld over 20 years ago.

Jonah is the absolute best (by being the worst). I'm still not over "THIS IS FUCKING PRIMORDIAL!" from last season.

Since Girls had a less-than-stellar season (based on reviews, not personal viewing yet), could Veep challenge Modern Family at the Emmys this year?

I still think Modern Family's biggest challenger is The Big Bang Theory.

I didn't even know about this show until yesterday (Season 1 marathon) and it has quickly become one of my favorite shows on TV right now.

"Signals" might have been the show's funniest episode to date. I laughed hysterically throughout.

Amy, in response to Selina's comment about pigfucking: "I wouldn't assume they took turns."

On Catherine: "If this were the '60s, we could just get the National Guard to shoot her."

"You're as annoying as a condom filled with fire ants."

"I'd rather set fire to my vulva, so no."

So...what are the odds Julia Louis-Dreyfus wins her second straight Emmy for this? She is just killin' it, week after week.

This show is incredibly funny. It's not like New Girl or Happy Endings or Parks & Rec, which are populated with people you mostly like on a personal level. But it doesn't matter.

The end of the episode on the plane in Sunday's episode had me in stitches.

FINALLY saw last week's finale.

Selina: Jonah, hey listen, settle something for me. You like to have sex and you like to travel?
Jonah: Yes, ma'am.
Selina: Then you can fuck off.

Emmy #2 for JLD, plz.

The episode with Allison Janney and the episode with the Finnish woman were my favorites this season. I was dying at both.

I marathoned through Season 2 yesterday. Better than the first season I'd say, if only for the strong non-Selina character building, although JLD is great too of course. What stuck out to me is Jonah, who used to be funny because of the way other people treated him. Now I laugh at everything he says and does. Him trying to pick up Selina was just :funny: . J-Dizzle is the hizzle.

I just like that Jonah is the Jerry from Parks & Rec of this show, except that everyone's reasons for hating Jonah are justified.

So happy this is back. The most acid-tongued and maybe even the funniest comedy on TV these days.

Jonah being fired was hilariously cathartic. Although I'm so glad Timothy Simons isn't leaving the show!

Also, the scene with Selina just being bored in her hotel room had me rolling. Queen JLD.

I like Julia's Rolling Stone cover...

Apparently, there was some controversy since John Hancock did not sign the constitution, he signed the declaration of independence. Rolling Stone editors said the declaration of independence is on the other side, but they couldn't fit in all the signatures. lol

I watched the first three episodes of the season last night (there is too much on Sunday nights and I haven't had a chance to watch it live yet). This season is HILARIOUS. The episode with the debate over abortions as well as the one with Tracie Thoms were both absolutely hysterical. Everyone on this show is just the worst person.

Yes. This season is hilarious. And I love how awful everyone here is. "Do their turds turn into cloud?" had me laughing for a couple of minutes. I had to pause the show.
