To save space from future polls, lets answer this universally asked Simpson question.

So is the Simpsons the greatest tv show EVER? If not put down your answer.

Good, but not the greatest. At it's peak, with the other shows around it not so good, yes, it may have been. But Seinfeld is better, Family Guy is better imo, 24 is better, Arrested Development even though in it's first season is a tad better, there's many more I could list that I like better than the Simpsons.

If Simpsons spread the wealth of wit, originality, and wholesomeness from the six or seven seasons that were excellent, right throughout its entire run, then yes. But, the first two seasons (very awkward to watch, as the show tried to set its tone), and most of the last five years have been very mediocre. The last few years were too dumbed down for its own good. Even The Simpsons had a heart, mind and soul back in the day. Now it only competes to have the most jokes in 22 minutes. It keeps me laughing, but that's not The Simpsons. That's just The Daily Show or SNL, fitting their in-jokes into the show.

It's hard to compare the Simpsons to Seinfeld, but I'd say the best seasons of the simpsons (3-8) tie with Seinfeld for the best comedy series.
But when you compare recent Simpsons episodes to Family Guy, futurama and South Park, Simpsons is behind all three.

I need to see recent episodes of South Park. I've been behind for a while. I actually haven't seen any of Season 7, and it's already on Season 8.

One of the best imo.

Twin Peaks would be best to me, I absolutely couldn't miss a episode when it was showing first time here.

Seinfeld is kinda tied with The Simpsons.

And Monty Python's Flying Circus is above both.

Shitty comparison, but Ric Flair on WWE called Randy Orton great. A great man, but not a legendary man. I think The Simpsons is great, but not a legendary show.

Of course it's the greatest show ever. Anyone who doesn't think so is a loser.

If it is the greatest, change your name to Homer Simpson or Matt Groening, put a Simpsons quote in your sig, and change your avatar to something Simpsons-related.

Can I ask a question. What is wrong with my poll options. Yes or NO only tells you one question.

Where my poll asks whether you consider the Simpsons.
Greatest
Great but not the Greatest
Good
Bad
Never saw

I think that is alot better than just yes or no.

So can you please tell me what is wrong with my 5 options so I can understand why it is bad or wrong? I would appreciate your comments.

Yes or No is simplier. I don't need your life story in an answer. You can tell us whatever you want in a reply.
