Is Hayden Panettiere that good in Nashville?

No Aaron Paul :(

She's pretty good, yeah. The show itself is a bit more of a snooze so far than I had hoped, but Panettiere and Connie Britton have nothing to be ashamed of.

I love that "Smash" and "The Newsroom," both subjects of articles about hate-watching this year, were both nominated in their respective categories :P

Not much new on the TV side from this fall's batch of shows. I'm kind of happy for Hayden Panettiere. She was probably one of the only reasons I kept watching Heroes for as long as I did.

Very happy for Mandy Patinkin.

Biggest surprise: No Mad Men for Best Drama. But the Globes are kind of weird anyway. Always were.

Other biggest surprise: Smash for anything.

How the fuck did Newsroom get in? The reviews were mixed for the show and it looks boring. The nominations are a bigtime fail, it looks more like the people's choice awards except with our very own KJ poster David doing the nominations. Look at the supporting category. I mean no Aaron Paul or (p)imp Dinklage

No Game of Thrones either and yeah the Globes are weird when it comes to TV.

Can Newsroom be removed for more worthy shows like Mad Men, Game of Thrones or Justified? I would even argue that The Walking Dead, Dexter and Luck would be better replacements too

I can say Newsroom was certainly mixed at times, but the acting is top notch, and Daniels is by far an away awesome in it.
