Have you ever wanted to watch a show, or just saw a DVD set of a show you never saw before, and decided to start there? I never saw Buffy The Vampire Slayer, so I blindly bought the first season. Boy, was I surprised at how good it was. I also bought the entire series of Sports Night on DVD, and thank God, that show was awesome. Way better than the other Aaron Sorkin series, The West Wing.

I always hear about the show. Maybe I'll see if I can download an episode or two, to see how it is. How long did it last?

Two seasons. I was not joking when I called it the best TV show ever. It's unlike anything else that's ever been shown on TV. If you get a chance, check out the movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. It's a prequel to the show, and it's even more twised and bizarre.

Damn, now it's my duty to see this show. Does it tie up nicely or not?

Eh. Well, it's Twin Peaks, so it doesn't really make a whole lotta sense to begin with.

Good enough. There's far too many good shows that end abruptly, because a network cancels them. The Lone Gunmen comes to mind. Are the DVDs old or new? If they're newer, I might still be able to get them, but otherwise, I'll probably have to snoop around eBay for them.

Only the first season is on DVD. I should have said that earlier. The second season is pretty easy to download, though.

The only episodes of Sports Night I have seen were on DVD.

Eventually, I will probably watch an entire series of an HBO original series on DVD, like The Wire or Curb your Enthusiasm

It doesn't count towards my original intent, but the majority of Volume 4 of Futurama was unseen by me.

I got to watch the first season of 24 on DVD, and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to seeing any more seasons of it though.

It's impossible to pick it up once a season has started (unless you want to lose your mind, heh) so I'll have to find some way to compromise and either watch this season trying not to hear any spoilers from the last few before I can catch up on DVD...or just swear off of it forever, and be stuck with the DVDs...which isn't all that bad I guess :)
