And it's green-lit. Craven is in talks to direct the pilot. I'm actually kind of excited. Hope it's good. I'm of a different mindset now than when it was first announced. I actually think this could be fairly cool. Especially if Craven does indeed direct the pilot. It's not like we'll get a Scream 5 so why not? This might work. I didn't even see a Ghostface appearance in those ads. Could they not get the rights or something? This is a failure waiting to happen. |

Ghostface isn't even in this, which makes no sense. In the script it's based on some guy with like a facial deformity or something. |

The rights aren't like blocked or anything, they just haven't had the need for them yet. There saying possibly the season 1 finale. |

Scream is my favorite movie but I also love slashers and horror themed things in general. Honestly I don't think it looks bad. I'm pretty interested in it. I'm just ignoring that it's a "Scream series" and taking it as a new horror-themed show. And as that it might be fun. Here's hoping. |

The script is sooooooooooo bad. No Ghostface, no phone calls. Which would be fine, except the characters all suck. And the whole thing is sort of a My Bloody Valentine rip-off (serial killer died 20 years ago... is he back?? Plus hearts sent out in boxes), and I'm relatively certain they don't know they're ripping it off. |
