 Pan Am
Did anyone watch it? I thought it was decent. I'd give it a B- and could eventually see it being a B. I'll keep watching, but I really can't see it making it. I don't think there will be too much interest and a lot of viewers probably won't stick around after the pilot. I watched it with my mom and she thought it was boring and didn't like all of the flashbacks . I could see others feeling the same.

 Re: Pan Am
Ive downloaded it and will check it out. Its a shame its not better as the subject matter and setting is ripe for some great storytelling.

 Re: Pan Am
Meh, I might be done after tonight. It's really not terribly engrossing, IMO.

 Re: Pan Am
I thought the second episode was great and better than the pilot. Definitely sticking with this one.

 Re: Pan Am
Loving the third episode so far. This is my favorite new drama of the season.

 Re: Pan Am
I think Pan Am will eventually get cancelled. I've felt like that since the first promo aired, which haven't been impressive.
On top of that, Sunday nights are tough when you're up against CSI: Miami, The Good Wife, Sunday Night Football, Dexter, and The Walking Dead.

 Re: Pan Am
Tonight's episode was probably the worst since the pilot, but it was nice to get some backstory on the pilots for once. Not enough Colette though!

 Re: Pan Am
This is probably getting a full season despite the mediocre ratings: http://www.deadline.com/2011/10/abcs-pa ... ack-order/

 Re: Pan Am
Great news! Atleast they are looking beyond the short term ratings to overseas sales and some growth out of a show that is thankfully non procedural/police/lawyer/medical.
A new time-slot may help it.

 Re: Pan Am
Five additional scripts were ordered yesterday.
Last Sunday's episode, which focused heavily on Maggie's backstory and how she came to be a Pan Am stewardess, was easily the best one yet.

 Re: Pan Am
The past two episodes have been great. The end of last week's episode with Nico/Kate was incredibly sad, and this week's with the stop in Haiti was intense and well-executed.
Apparently this show is doing insanely well internationally (the numbers have been higher than the US and it's been the highest rated series premiere ever in some regions) so I'm really curious to see if ABC sticks with it.

 Re: Pan Am
Yes, I'm still watching this (not sure why) and any doubts I had about this being cancelled were erased with last night's episode. While the previous one ended on a cliffhanger with JFK's assassination (which is a big deal for the characters, especially Maggie since she's been shown as an avid supporter of his), last night's episode was obviously aired completely out of order and seemed to be a castoff from earlier in the season. Ridiculous and annoying to see characters who had already completed their arcs return for no reason. I hate when the networks do this kind of thing, and ABC is always the biggest culprit of it (see "Happy Endings" and the way its episodes were aired out of order in its first season for further proof).

 Re: Pan Am
The ratings were nightmarish for this against the Grammy Awards last night (expected, especially since the Whitney tribute happened during the 10pm hour). A 0.7 in the demo?!?! ABC must be thankful that next week is the last episode.
