Some nice picks there - I'm glad to see American Horror Story in the mix and it's also brilliant how a small 7-episode run of Episodes resulted in Best Comedy and Lead Actor noms. Awesomeness. Actresses in a supporting role are a great bunch - Lange, MacDonald, Vergara - all great and deserving and quite the standouts in their shows. Also Idris Elba's nom for Luther is great. Such a superb series. |

Except Episodes was awful, as are most of these nominations--but thankfully that only means everything is right in the world. |

The supporting categories at the Globes are so asinine. lol The best things about these are the Homeland nominations. Oh and Madeleine Stowe lol |

Kind of surprised by American Horror nomination in the best drama category and to a lesser extent Bosses. I like AH but in my opinion its too campy to qualify for that nod and the critics dont seem to kind to the show. Its weird that Breaking Bad always gets nominated in every major award shows but never at the GG Anyhow I could see GOT walking away with the globe. |

"American Horror Story" was actually pretty well-received, at least the pilot was. And it's been getting continuously better since then, with the past two episodes being AMAZING. |

Also, I understand the "Modern Family" love but so many other comedies have been surpassing it in terms of quality this season that it's annoying to see it dominating again. |

Surprised at the 2 Broke Girls snub. Best Comedy was a stretch, but I at least expected one acting nod for either of the Girls. |

Also, after catching a few minutes of Enlightened this week, I would've easily included Laura Dern in my predictions for Best Actress. Never would've included it for Best Comedy though. Is it not the lowest rated HBO series ever? According to Wikipedia, one episode got 90,000 viewers. |

HOLY CRAP! Jim Parsons WASN'T nominated? There is a TV God! El Murato, it's funny that you gave me a bit of grief over not initially predicting Dinklage, since he won the Emmy. Meanwhile the Globes only nominated ONE OTHER Emmy winner from this past year (Margulies). The other Emmy Winners (Chandler, Parsons, McCarthy, Martindale, Burrell, Bowen) were not nominated. |

Well Chandler won for a series that had only 6 episodes the entire year. Maybe they dont think its enough to qualify. Matindale is a weird one. Not sure why she isnt nominated.Maybe they feel its more a guest performance McCarthy was a hand me down because of her work in Bridesmaid . I bet she wont even be nominated next year for the Emmys kind of similiar to Kyra Sedwick winning and not being nominated. I did say Dinklage and Pierce would be nominated. I guess GG favor drama work over comedy so no surprise there |

Glad to see Gervais back. Shows more people were in on the joke last year than one would think. PS, has anyone watched life's too short? It's hilarious, might be Gervais funniest show yet. |

Well despite being so called "friends"(which I don't believe there as good a frends as you make them out to be Gun) is that he burned Depp by implying he hadn't seen the movie he starred in with Angelina Jolie because the movie was poorly received making it seem like he was embarassed for even being in the movie to begin with.. That went over your head, didn't it Gun??? ![]() |

No I get it, pointing out that a lot of things Gervais does is scripted. You don't think Steve Carrell really hates him too do you? |
