 The Secret Circle
Premieres Thursday night on The CW after the third season premiere of "The Vampire Diaries."The pilot has been released in advance on iTunes as a free download. I'm watching it now.

 Re: The Secret Circle
If it's anything like Williamson's previous show (TVD) then it will probably need 5 or so episodes to get to the real good stuff. I don't expect much from the pilot, but it's definitely the type of the show I like to watch.

 Re: The Secret Circle
Actually really enjoyed the pilot. It was certainly better than the first episode of "Vampire Diaries," which took about three or four episodes to get going for me.

Just echoing my opinion from Rate the Pilots thread... be.redy wrote: The Secret Circle 6/10 -> C
Good setup, but slightly boring as it didn't add anything special to the whole witch lore. We've seen all of this in other TV shows/movies that dealt with witches. Now it's either a time for good pay offs (just like TVD does it) or it will turn out to be another cliche ridden supernatural show.

 Re: The Secret Circle
Watched the encore Friday night and wasn't too impressed. I thought The Vampire Diaries pilot was better than this. I agree that it was kind of boring. I'll keep watching to see if it gets any better though. It seems most CW shows get off to a rocky start.

 Re: The Secret Circle
Episodes 4 and 5 definitely picked up the pace after completely mediocre first three. So as of now it's acting just like TVD in its first season. I love how past paced shows have become recently.

 Re: The Secret Circle
Each episode gets better and better. The past two have been excellent, especially the awesome horror-movie-esque eighth episode. Faye is easily the best, most interesting character.
