 Elementary (Season 1)
Anyone watch tonight?
I really enjoyed it. I think this is going to grow into something really good especially once the Holmes/Watson relationship grows. Both Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu were fantastic.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
The pilot was decent but a bit too procedural for my taste, and there's far too much else on Thursdays I watch to keep up. Still though, the leads were excellent.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
I plan to watch the pilot later tonight. I'm intrigued. I know it won't top the Cumberbatch/Freeman series, but still. I'm a fan of Jonny Lee Miller.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
I have somehow so little motivation to start watching a Sherlock Holmes TV Series when there is a perfectly fine series of films and another great TV series on the subject... is there really anything this can add that we haven't been served with those two?

Sexual tension, my dear Watson.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
Apparently the creators have said that Watson and Holmes will never hook up on this series though.

Wait a minute. Guy Ritchie made a Sherlock Holmes film?

He was married to Madonna for a while, too.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
I enjoyed the pilot, thought it was decent. It can only get better from here. Johnny Lee Miller & Lucy Liu really have a great chemistry together.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
I liked the pilot. But I would like this show more if there was some bigger case. Something like Veronica Mars S3. Maybe a couple of cases each season that take 3-5 episodes to solve.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
I'm sick to death of crime procedurals, but just as House became the exception for my distaste for medical dramas, Elementary may do the same for the crime-time genre. I really dug it. The pilot didn't blow me away, but I will definitely watch again. Miller and Liu are perfect together. Not sure how it stacks up to other Sherlock adaptations, but it works.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
This show has kept up its very fun, yet intriguing, concept episode to episode and the chemistry between Holmes and Watson is aces. Holmes' analysis at times brings back some memories of Tim Roth in action on "Lie to Me".

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
Elementary is a good choice. 2 Broke Girls kinda doesn't need it?

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
Dang, I was expecting Person of Interest.
This could be a huge success or a colossal failure for CBS. They better hope that Elementary doesn't fall into the mid-high 1's in January.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
The Super Bowl spot should be given to a show to either gain an audience for a debut or grow its audience if it's doing okay but not great. 2 Broke Girls and Person of Interest are already hits. Especially POI doesn't need the boost.

 Re: Elementary (Season 1)
Eh. It'll be interesting to see how it does. I think CBS should have just done a 2 Broke Girls/BBT hour block which would have been huge.
