 Re: CBS 2011/12
WTF @ Rules of Engagement on Sturdays? Are they trying to crack original programming there?? While I was sure The Good Wife was going to move, I hoped it would be on Thursday at 10, while The Mentalist gets shifted to 9. CSI move doesn't shock me. But Person of Interest must be strong if CBS feels comfortable enough to push it on Thursdays at 9. But overall it's a non eventful schedule. And they even haven't given short descriptions in their press release...

Kudos for trying SOMETHING on Saturday. Too bad it'll fail horribly.

 Re: CBS 2011/12
I am obviously extremely glad The Good Wife got renewed. At first glance, I didn't really like the move to Sundays at 9. I still, of course, watch Desperate Housewives. But this upcoming season of that show will likely be its last and it certainly is not the ratings powerhouse it used to be. So I think TGW has a chance to make a strong impression in that time slot. And I do love that TGW and Parenthood are no longer competing against one another. Parenthood will probably win the Tuesday 10 PM hour in the demo all season.
This schedule is pretty unchanged, a contrast from last year. I was expecting a move to Fridays for CSI, not Wednesday, though.
Rules of Engagement...on Saturdays?!?! I'd be so angry if I was actually a fan of that show for how CBS has just thrown that on their schedule at random points like a dartboard for throughout its run.
2 Broke Girls and Person of Interest both sound appealing. I like the cast of A Gifted Man and will watch if it's supposed to be any good. Unforgettable not so much.

 Re: CBS 2011/12
As a heads-up on the new series:
Person of Interest is supposedly CBS' highest-testing drama in 15 years, and 2 Broke Girls is their highest-testing pilot overall (comedy or drama) in that length of time.

 Re: CBS 2011/12
The comedies on Saturday could be interesting. I hate how there's nothing on on Saturday's anymore. When I was a kid they used to have shows on. Will be interesting to see how they perform.
So glad The Good Wife has changed nights.

Friday and Saturday are probably the highest rated nights here. Friday especially.

 Re: CBS 2011/12
Just watched the "2 Broke Girls" pilot and it was quite funny and charming. Definitely fits well with "How I Met Your Mother" and I have a feeling it will be another younger-skewing success for CBS.

 Re: CBS 2011/12
"Person Of Interest" was awesome! I feel like it could be a huge hit for CBS. It fits with their procedural slate but is serialized enough to get other viewers hooked and interested. Michael Emerson was fantastic, as were the production values. At times it felt like a Christopher Nolan/J.J. Abrams movie.

The only interesting thing is the one hour premiere for both HIMYM and TBBT.

Person of Interest looks appealing enough since its written by Christopher Nolan's brother and has Michael Emerson and Jim Caviziel in it

 Re: CBS 2011/12
Obviously CBS hit the best marks with their two high profile comedies. Person of Interest was supposed to be hot and the best ranked drama pilot ever, but it seems it doesn't play out all that well as it seems to be mediocre to nearly 65% of the reviewers.

Wow, judging by the six second clip they show of 2 Broke Girls, I would've thought it sucked. Glad to see it doesn't.
Where are these pilots being seen? Cause... I wanna see 'em too...

 Re: CBS 2011/12
I haven't seen any pilot leaks yet. Though it should happen soon I'm guessing. Though some of these are getting filmed again for various reasons (recasting, tweaking, etc.) so they might end up better or worse I guess.
