Weeds returns for its seventh season Monday, June 27. After season 6--which I was a big, big fan of (probably my second favorite after the second season)--I'm looking forward to this next year a lot. Hope it's the last year, though, and that they go out on top.

Any other Weeds fans anticipating S7?


EDIT: I guess this could've just gone in the S6, thread, as it's still a few months before S7 starts, but oh well.

I pretty much loved all of the seasons so far and I love how the show is able to reinvent itself season after season.

EDIT: It's going to be very interesting to see how Nancy is going to get out of the clusterfuck she has found herself in now.

Can't wait for a new season of Weeds! I'm happy they are not waiting until August to premiere it this year.

I just finished Season 6. I thought it was great. Can't wait for the next.

The first two episodes have been fantastic!

I've really enjoyed this season so far as well. Thank god this show is on the rebound after how terrible seasons 4 and 5 were.

Maybe you were the terrible one during those seasons? Weeds has always been one of the best shows on TV.

I started watching Weeds about a month ago, now on the 5th season... It took some time but I ended up really enjoying seasons 1-3. Season 4 was kind of meh for me, didn't really like the storylines and as the show is moving I'm starting to like Nancy a lot less. I'm in the middle of Season 5 and I'm not hating it but I just don't have the interest to go through the episodes as fast as I did with the first three seasons. I'll keep watching, though, I wonder when I'll be fully caught up...

I'm loving this season so far. Nancy endless bad decisions don't really bother me, as it seems she knows that this mess she's made is her life--there's no going back--so "try again, fail better" is all the plan she has.

Silas' bitterness/anger with Nancy looks like well that's still got plenty left in there, especially with his somewhat (however brief) newfound power over her. Shane's college stuff has mileage as well. And Doug feels a bit like he's got some purpose again, which is a nice change of pace.

While I did enjoy Celia, it was a wonderful decision to cut the Hodes family from the lineup. Since last season it feels a lot more centered now that the Botwins (and Doug, who after living with them for like the last four or five years in-show must be like extended family--a cousin or whathaveyou) are solely the focus of things.

This season has been quite good so far, but good lord I loathe Nancy so much. I don't even remember the last time I've despised a TV character this much

Heylia! Yay, I look forward to Nancy getting to deal with her again in whatever capacity.

Nancy's got a nice driving force with trying to get Stevie back. Feels like the first time in a while she hasn't been simply trying to not get killed. I'm also glad Andy's free of that short relationship, as it didn't really seem to be going anywhere story-wise and didn't add much humor. The artist chick's husband was more entertaining than she was. Also, always nice to see Andy Umberger aka D'hoffryn, Lord of Arashmahaar : )

I'd like if things just keep getting better and this is the last season. I was a big fan of S6, so to get two more great seasons before the sun sets on the Botwins would be welcome.
