This is the funniest show of NBC's comedy block right now.

Thought 30 Rock was better tonight.
Would've been nice if we could've had 22+ weeks to compare them, but...

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
The show is like a revival of those NBC torture shows that they use to squeeze in between Seinfield and Friends

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
Who would have though adding funny characters would make this show better. Rob Lowe makes this show, glad to see he's getting more time on it.

Because none of the other characters are funny.

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
Yeah, she is basically the retarded version of Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
I'm pretty sure Mary Elizabeth Winstead is the retarded version of Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
Also, Magnus seems to have some barely-hidden misogynist rage he needs to work out. Mommy issues?

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
I really do try to like this show, but for such a powerful ensemble, I rarely get more than 2 or 3 laughs out of an episode. I probably wouldn't watch it if it wasn't wedged between The Office (which just had its funniest episode since Season 2) and 30 Rock (which is just as strong as ever).

Jeez. I just caught up on the last few episodes (Ron and Tammy Part Two being pure hilarious) and apparently made quite the error in popping in here, where up is down and funny is, apparently, not.

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
It's just that Magnus is gay, thegun is retarded, and Gopher has no sense of humour.

Well, I'm a boner-fied gay and I love this show so that can't be it. Maybe it's the closeted gays that can't handle the funny?

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
Great about this getting renewed for another season. When will it start getting award nominations? Such a funny show that has really come into its own. I'm glad it's starting to do decent after once seeming doomed. I applaud NBC for sticking with it.
