Really not sure who to cheer for in this group. I think this is the first I've seen Herb and Nate, its usually Flight Time and Big Easy...I think. Whatever, at least it's in HD.

Premieres tonight!

Quick thoughts on the teams:
Amanda & Kris: I really don't have thoughts...they weren't on their first season long
Gary & Mallory: I love them! I hope they can do better this time around
Globetrotters: Loved them at first but they wore quickly on me
Jaime & Cara: Jaime is the reincarnation of Satan...can she redeem herself?
Jet & Cord: OMG YES PLZ WIN
Kynt & Vyxsin: ...alright
Kisha & Jen: They cracked me up
Margie & Luke: UGH (these two pissed me off so much near the end of their season)
Mel & Mike: yay!
Ron & Christina: I hope he's less horrible to her this time, she really didn't deserve that
Zev & Justin: They seemed pretty cool and were eliminated too early last time

Slightly taken aback the premiere was "to be continued..." but. You know, whatever. I was glad at the same time because Jet and Cord were in last and I would be so upset if they got booted first!

Other thoughts:
-Sydney is absolutely positively gorgeous
-I was glad to see Gary/Mallory come in first, I enjoy them
-Jaime appears to be as horrible a person as she was the first time around
-On that same note...still can't stand Margie and Luke
-I think Mel and Mike are so adorable
-Kisha and Jen got funnier...even though I'm baffled as to why Jen apparently didn't try to learn how to swim before she came back
-Zev and Justin=<3. Especially for refusing to help Jaime/Cara and Margie/Luke, my two least favorite teams
-Kent and Vyxsin are more endearing than I remembered
-Kris is really hot
-Ron didn't berate Christina although it appears that may start next week...gross

Ugh. Cowboys please don't get booted first. PLEASSEEEEE!

Great premiere BTW. Much better than any I've ever seen.

Great premiere episode. Hopefully the U-Turn doesn't screw over Amanda and Kris. I like them.

Amanda and Kris either have really bad luck or are just really bad at this. Or both. I'll miss the eye candy he brought, however brief.

A part of me wanted Ron and Christina to get the boot instead because I'm not sure I can take yet another season of his exasperating self constantly berating her. I wish she was allowed to return for this with a new partner or something.

Mel and Mike are adorable (although Mel's health issues in only the first leg do not bode well). As are Zev and Justin, and Gary and Mallory.

Who doesn't love people hopping around in kangaroo suits while stereotypically didgeridoo music plays in the background?

Speaking of exasperating people, does Jaime run over someone next episode? I feel like her murdering someone is the next logical progression.

Why do Margie and Luke make it so easy to hate them? They became such annoying cunts by the end of their original season, and they don't seem any less surfin' the crimson wave the second go-round. I loved it when she fell on her face.

Awww, Amanda and Kris. I so wanted Ron and Christina to get eliminated.

Luckily the cowboys made it... Phew, that was a close one.

Oh, and TAR uses some shitty HDTV camera's. The colors are murky, there's no focus or anything...

Noooooo Mel and Mike! :( I mean, this is hardly a surprise considering Mel's physical shortcomings, but still. Love them and am sad to see them go so early.

I wasn't rooting for Jaime/Cara's elimination as intensely as I might have expected. Their surprise at not being last was, dare I say it, actually kind of cute? Jaime seems to have matured a little bit since their previous season in the "ugly American" department. I say that now and then she'll do something horrendous next week lol.

I'm not sure the Globetrotters actually deserved a penalty as much as Ron and Christina probably should've gotten a time credit instead. I mean, it was a boneheaded move but it didn't seem particularly malicious. Oh well. Speaking of Christina, how random is it that she's engaged to Azaria from that season they were on together?

My two favorite teams, at this point in time, are Zev/Justin and Kisha/Jen (probably followed by the Cowboys and Gary/Mallory).

So far Zev and Justin have become my favorite team. They're funny and charming. And I didn't think much of them in their previous race.

I'm glad Mel and Mike were eliminated. They might be good people, but they're awful competitors.

The Cowboys seem to be completely out of it, don't they? They need to step up their game.

Post subject:  Re: The Amazing Race 18: Unfinished Business

Ron is a complete douchebag. But looks like Christina has actually found her snap and it's looking like she won't take his crap for much long. Also shouldn't they have gotten a penalty for not taking the designated bus from the stop. They stopped a bus midway back and went in.

I laughed so hard at that Chinese woman who could be heard saying "Ahhh, The Amazing Race..." while Kynt and Vyxsen were doing the charm stuff. Also the Goths have been awful in this episode. I wanted to see them eliminated.

I like this - "You're still racing..." twist. It makes for some interesting stuff in otherwise boring legs like this one.

Another to be continued leg? I don't understand why the logistics of this particular season keep calling for that?

Anyway: Kent and Vyxsin had one of the most disastrous legs any team in TAR history has probably ever had, Ron was somehow even more of a pain in the ass than usual, and I sincerely hope Zev and Justin manage to climb out of their current low standing.

Jaime is shockingly likable this season. What happened?

I'm guessing this is another non-elimination, which is kinda cool when done this way.

Yeah I think instead of doing "non-elimination" legs they are now "to be continued" legs.

I wanted for the Goths to be eliminated. They annoyed me. I'm actually sad Jamie and Cara got eliminated...

Nest episode is a must see. Luke breaks down... LOOOOOOL.

Margie and Luke weren't quite as irritating as they were during their original season this time around (mostly because they kind of faded into the background), but I was still kinda glad to see them get the boot. Enough whining, please.

Post subject:  Re: The Amazing Race 18: Unfinished Business

Ummmm. What was up with Luke's speech at the end when he said he never thought he would be able to do TAR. You already raced once you fucktard. And I love how he's all whiny when he can't do something. Like a little baby. But all the time he's like I'm just as good as everybody else. Then suck it up like everybody else did and do the effin task. Bye bye.

Post subject:  Re: The Amazing Race 18: Unfinished Business

Phew. I'm glad Gary and Mallory are still in this one...

Kent and Vyxin needs to get eliminated ASAP. Kent is such a douche.

And what was up with the Cowboys logic this ep? They choose a different plane landing half an hour later despite every other team being on the same flight? If that flight got delayed due to its connections EVERYONE would be delayed. No harm done to anyone...

Aw. Cowboys. It's at the point where all of the teams left are likable (except Kent and Vyxsin, who bug), so the eliminations will be kinda sad. Still Team Zev/Justin, though.

My preferences for the winners are probs:
1. Zev/Justin
2. Gary/Mallory
3. Kisha/Jen
4. Flight Time/Big Easy
5. Kent/Vyxsin

Awww, fuck it. I'm annoyed by Kynt and Vyxsen and I can't wait for them to be eliminated. Also the Globetrotters aren't that likable either. Zev and Justin FTW. Or Gary and Mallorie as the alternative...

Post subject:  Re: The Amazing Race 18: Unfinished Business

Gary and Mallorie all the way. Though I wouldn't mind a Zev/Justin win. (Zev's face during the cheese challenge was probably the highlight of the season)

I cannot believe Kent and Vyxin keep doing so well. What the heck.

I think I collectively spoke for the audience with my reaction to the ending of this leg: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

I was freaking out Zev and Justin were gonna get the boot. And they totally were, obviously. Except Kent and Vyxsin bickered and whined and Failure to Read the Clue-d themselves right out of the race. Thank goodness. She's OK but he's so incredibly annoying.

All four teams left are likable and I think we could have a good finale.
